Very very beautiful property and worth every penny

Our stay at The Bodrum Edition had both impressive highlights and disappointing lows. On arrival, things began poorly as we were given no induction about the hotel’s facilities, timings, or locations. To their credit, the management apologised and sent complimentary food and drinks to our room, which was a thoughtful gesture that showed genuine care.
Breakfast – 9/10
Breakfast was exceptional. The à la carte service avoids food waste and the quality was superb across every dish and drink. The staff were attentive and proactive, delivering a service that truly reflects five-star standards.
BRAVA Restaurant – 9/10
Dining at BRAVA was a highlight of our stay. The food and service were excellent throughout. A special mention to Alexandra, who was exceptionally attentive and friendly, reflecting the professionalism and warmth of the whole team.
Gym – 9/10
The gym was outstanding, with top-quality equipment, spotless facilities, and constant replenishment of towels and water. Staff were always present, ready to assist, almost like having a trainer on hand. Easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve experienced.
Pool Service – 8/10
In contrast, the pool service was much stronger. Staff were attentive, the space was well maintained, and assistance came quickly when needed. It felt far closer to the five-star experience expected.
Beach Service – 4/10
The beach was by far the weakest part of the hotel. Staff often seemed inattentive, disengaged, and lacking basic service standards. Cleanliness took too long, food sometimes arrived without cutlery or napkins, and asking simple questions could be met with little knowledge or interest. Initially, the service felt far from luxury.
After I submitted a personal review to reception, the service at the beach did improve. However, I am unsure how long this higher standard will be maintained before slipping back. I also witnessed people climbing over the fence from the neighbouring hotel to access the beach, apparently aided by an external guest who had paid for day use — completely unacceptable for a property of this calibre.
Another major disappointment was learning that the prime deck areas are reserved only for guests willing to pay €1,000 per person, per day. This policy was not explained on Instagram, at check-in, or on the hotel’s website. As a result, these beautiful spaces sat empty for most of our stay, while regular guests were left with a less impressive beach experience. It feels misleading, as the hotel markets the decks as part of the overall beach offering when in reality they are not accessible to the majority of guests.
