Overall a luxurious hotel. Room was cozy, I liked the artwork on the wall surrounding the television. The bed was a proper double bed and not 2 singles mushed together which I liked. Lighting and curtains can be controlled via a screen - curtains close or open at the press of a button. The bathroom was perfect, plenty of space for the shower and toilet. The lighting was installed perfectly, which turned on automatically when you entered, activated by a sensor, turning off automatically after around 5 minutes. Breakfast was unique and had pancakes with self-serving chocolate spread/strawberry/apricot dispensers and maple syrup. Nearest metro station Overamstel is very conveniently located and is an easy commute into the city centre.
The wall to the right of the bed was plain and could have done with some artwork. The bed came with 2 single-sized quilts, a minor inconvenience considering it was a double bed. Another minor inconvenience for me was the square-sized pillows, since usually pillows are rectangle where I'm from in the UK... however I adjusted fine. The bathroom lighting turned on via a sensor with no option to turn off - so waking up late at night for the toilet expect a flash bang. A funny inconvenience is that when you are in the shower long enough the bathroom lights turn off due to the sensor not being anywhere inside the shower area. Very disappointed with the breakfast since I'm usually a beans and fried eggs person. There were zero beans or fried eggs.

Convenient for Metro
Some minor maintenance issues in room - showing wear. Very few amenities in the immediate neighbourhood.

Location
I requested something for my fiancée’s birthday, but they didn’t bring anything. Later, after I reminded them, they offered me two free drinks.
After that, I went to get the two free drinks, but they charged me full price. I had to point out again that I was supposed to have two drinks included, and they offered me another two free but by then it was too late since we were leaving the next day.

This time for a concert in the Ziggo Dome and the hotel is ideal for it!"
