We really enjoyed our stay in Nusa Penida. The view from our balcony was incredible, overlooking the swimming pools and the ocean. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and always smiling, which made our stay even more pleasant.
The hotel has three swimming pools, but two of them were under maintenance and not available during our stay. The one that was open was quite clean and offered a beautiful view of the ocean.
There were a few things that could be improved. For a 4-star hotel, we found the breakfast selection quite limited, with not many varieties to choose from. The water in the shower also did not flow very well, as if the drain was partially blocked. We also noticed quite a lot of ants in the room, but this did not bother us.

Right from the start the communication was excellent, We caught the fast boat over and sent our location while we were on the boat so the driver that the Hotel organised was there waiting for us, First site of the hotel looked good, one of the best introductions to a hotel in a long time, very friendly staff, the room was amazing with a great views, the best sunrise from the awesome balcony out the front of the room, rooms were clean, nice size, good bathroom, aircon, minibar, the resort had an infinity pool with amazing views, opposite a great restaurant where we watched an awesome live show of triditional dancers, there is another Lage pool above our room, this is a new pool that flows infinity style to another pool that is shallower which would be awesome for kids, there is a swimup bar in the making, not open yet and still work going on the large accomodaion block on the hill but all looks good and fits perfectly for the location also close to Dimond Beach and Tree House.
It was all good and I think the very first 10 I have given on these reviews, differnet to our normal but perfect for what we were after, if your looking for night clubs, busy streets with many resturants and bars this is not really the spot.

The rooms were spacious and east-facing so we could see the beatiful sunrise from our room. Food was good too, especially breakfast. The shuttle service to and from the port is very helpful.
There was a mix-up in the spa booking so the makeshift spa experience was not so good. Slow to respond to queries and phone calls don't seem to go through.

Quite scenic ocean views luxurious resort. Great location for touring east and West Island attractions . Very helpful staff .
