The apartment is situated in a superb location in between the Olimpic Port and the quaint area of Poble Nou.
The balcony looks out on to the street and has a side view of the sea which is a 2 minute walk away. It is south facing, therefore has sunlight all day. Beautifully decorated.
Very close to restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Bus turistico busstop in the same street. Is easily accessible to other parts of the city by foot, bus, underground and taxi. You can reach the centrical Rambla de Cataluña by foot, walking along the beachside boulevard.

I travelled with my adult son, I slept in the bedroom and he in the sitting room. Both the beds and the bedding were pretty good. There are two flights of stairs up to the flat which are a bit narrow so if you are not good with stairs this might be a problem for you. The flat is cosy but has everything you need. Jane and Javier are great hosts - some things needed fixing so I called Jane and they were fixed immediately. The flat was very clean. The bathroom is small so if you are a tall/big person you might not be comfortable - we are both quite short so no problem. They have a small super market at the bottom of the stairs, right next to the front door which has most things and open to 2am every day! There were roadworks in the street which were quite noisy but only in the day time - so if you have trouble sleeping - take some earplugs. The air conditioner worked well and you do need it. The beach is at the end of the road and is great. Little beach cafes along the beach [quite expensive we found] good paths to walk along, showers and water clean. We enjoyed our visit.

We have just returned from a fantastic long weekend in Barcelona and we stayed at this wonderful apartment. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and correspondence with the owner was very quick. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has a great feeling about it. The wifi was very speedy, we managed to stream live UK TV without any issues (via a VPN). It was great to have the supermarket just next door so we didn't have to carry our shopping very far.We made good use of our Hola Barcelona travel cards and used the Metro daily from the local station, which was a short walk away, about 5-10 minutes. There was a train every 5 minutes and Plaça de Catalunya was only a few stops away.There is a fantastic restaurant just around the corner from the apartment main door, de Vega, which was open for breakfasts and for evening meals. We had some very tasty tapas there.If you're looking for a great place to stay out of the main throb of the city but close enough to all of the main attractions, then check this apartment out. We hope to return very soon!

Jane was fantastic, communication great. Bed really comfy and everything as described, super clean. The shop directly underneath was open until the early hours and stocked a wide range, so handy for when you arrive! Had a great stay, thanks Jane x

Excellent location! Close to beach, easy walks to La Rambla and Sagrada Familia. Comfortable apartment. One caution is the bathroom is very small. Javier was great!
