Atlantic View Cottage has been the perfect holiday base for our family of four to explore the wonderful Isle of Lewis, with it's magnificent nature and historical landmarks. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Anne has been a wonderfully welcoming and kind host. We can't recommend enough this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by unspoilt beauty of the Hebrides. We also appreciated that dogs were welcome - a big plus for us! Just 45 minutes from Stornoway, the cottage is ideally located close to many beautiful beaches and historical attractions. The excellent community shops in Carloway and Uig provide everything you may need during your stay. A wonderful coastal walk around Great Bernera starts right by the cottage, and the scenic Bosta Beach and Iron Age house are definitely worth a visit.
