Best vacation in years! Just steps to the beach and oh so quiet!! Many restaurant choices just a short drive away. This slice of beach is a hidden gem. The cottage was PERFECT! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and very nice living space. We even saved a few horseshoe crabs. Can’t wait to go back!

Prior to this, my wife and I always made Slaughter Beach a side trip from Rehoboth to scout for fossils and kayak. This time we stayed four days and loved every minute! It is such a quiet and peaceful place and the house is perfect for reading, relaxing, and wandering onto the beach whenever you want. Great food and entertainment are only 25 minutes away in Lewes and Rehoboth, but you don’t have to fight traffic or deal with rowdy crowds. We never wanted to leave. The best alarm clock in the world is the sunrise shining over the bay and peeping in the back windows of the house.
