Very comfortable bed, my room was on the 2nd on the river side , could sleep with the open window with a loud sound of this mountain river, unforgettable experience

Lovely 19th century hotel-restaurant with period features. The staff were friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller I took a single room which was perfect for me. I ate in their restaurant which was very good. The breakfast selection was excellent too. I would be very happy to stay and eat here again.
I had to park my motorcycle in a small car park adjacent to the hotel but the hotel owner/manager explained that the bike would be safe and that people often left their doors unlocked at night as crime was not a problem, so no worries there.

Homely vibe, with managers usually present, lovely comfortable beds and warm rooms.
It was very expensive, but then again everything in Switzerland is! And there was no flexibility with the half board option, it had to be decided in advance, without knowledge of the local area (other options for dining out with family) and it was an extremely expensive option.
