Bonus fenced in yard for our dogs to use. Perfect location, easy street parking and great size for a family of four with two dogs. Highly recommend this property.

We traveled to Boston with our dog and stayed in Newport overnight. This home is lovely and welcoming. The location is perfect and we enjoyed two excellent meals in town and admired all the mansions. We are planning a trip in the Spring with family and will stay here again!

Popped up to Newport to see daughter and attend navy army game. This apartment was an ideal perch for our quick visit. Handy location. Super clean space and easy arrival process. Very pleasant stay! Cheers!

Myself and 3 friends spent the weekend in Newport celebrating a 40th Birthday. We were very pleased when we open the door to the apartment to smell how clean it was! It was the perfect space for our weekend. The only complaint was the neighbors dogs who barked constantly. Overall a great space!

My daughter and I stayed here with our two small dogs. Specious, clean and great location. Back yard was a bonus as the dogs ran around while we had our morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay was nice. However it would have been better if there would have been some kitchen dish towels and dishrags in the kitchen. The bathroom floor mat was very flimsy and more like a tripping hazard. It definitely needs to be replaced. It also would have been nice to have bar bath soap instead of small bottles of body soap. These are just suggestions to make it better. Thank you.

Very nicely decorated and fixed-up 2br with a very responsive and helpful host. Thames street gets noise until 1am but it's generally quiet in the rear where the two bedrooms lie.

I stayed with my 2 teens and we loved the apartment and location. It was just as described! My kids thought the beds were the most comfortable they have slept in. The only small note is there is no AC in the 2nd bedroom, just an air purifier that worked more like a fan so helped enough to not get too hot but was not as cold as rest of the apartment. The location is perfect - more residential and quiet but walking distance to the busier area of thames and the wharfs. We easily found parking in front of the building. Matt and Ryan keep the place really clean and were great at communicating prior to the stay.

My husband and I had a fabulous three day stay in this apartment and are so glad we rented it. Perfect location for all the events we were attending in Newport, super clean and light filled and had everything we needed. And the owners directions were complete and easy to follow. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

This property is meticulously clean and well appointed. Matthew, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful. This is a great choice if you want to be a bit outside the main activities of Newport but a walkable distance away. As with most of Newport, parking is a bit of a challenge. All in all this is a very nice property and I would recommend to friends and family.

My family and I stayed for three days at the Yachting Village and could not have been happier. The Guesthouse was cozy, very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was fantastic. Matt and Ryan were great communicators and very hospitable. We hope to stay there again in the near future!!!

My wife and I stayed at Yachting Village for a couple of days and had a great time. The apartement was perfect for the 2 of us and we where able to bring our dog. Its was better than pictured and described . The apartement was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great, their was alot within walking distance. Working with Matt was very easy and he was always availabe. We where their during a snowstorm and got a parking ticket due to snow removal which caught us all by surprise as the street was not marked accordingly. Matt refunded us the cost of the parking ticket which was unexpected and very generous We will definelty stay again on our next visit to Newport.

I did a quick girls weekend in Newport for my daughter's birthday, and we wanted a spot close to town to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. 638 Thames was perfect! Super clean and cutely decorated. Comfortable beds and lounging space. You can hear the neighbors walking around above you b/c of floor boards, so would just recommend bringing a white noise machine if you are light sleepers. But other than that, bring your sneakers and your appetite for all things Newport! Such great hosts, thank you, Matt and Ryan!! ~ Traci

Excellent place for our family of 4 (plus 1 small dog) to stay in order to walk around Newport. It was clean, spacious, full of light, and well furnished. We all found it extremely comfortable and inviting, and would stay here again. The hosts were responsive and friendly.
