This is a modern and large appartement. It's situated very central and near the Carmen beach.

The drain in the lavabo drained poorly. The entrance door to the flat has a gap of about 1 centimetre on the whole height, which was unfavourable for privacy. In addition, the flat is right next to an unloading point for lorries, which can be heard in parts.

Clean, nice, modern studio apartment in the middle of all the action.

Sarah was a gracious host who helped out with things we forgot, or us not speaking Spanish so well, or other things. The staff in the ATV rental right down stairs - which is owned by the same group - were happy to help with any questions even if they weren't about renting ATVs (where to eat, get coffee, see monkeys, etc). The air conditioning was welcome on the very hot days. The bathroom sink had hot water (which is actually a pretty big deal in Costa Rica). The location was good - near the beach, places to eat, the grocery, coffee shops. The unit was new and clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable.

It is right on the main road, so there is some street noise if you have a street facing unit. We heard this before we went, so we brought ear plugs for sleeping.

Exceeded our expectation

Very nice appartmant, clean, comfortable, spacious. Nice host available also to help via Whatsapp.

Quite noisy as the hallways can spread the noise from other rooms and also the entry to the beach was closed during our stay.

It was the perfect location for us, it was close to the beach and had great restaurants in walking distance.

VERY loud location. Nice room but nowhere near worth the exorbitant price.

The crew at the ATV shop was extremely helpful. The room was well appointed, and the location is right in the heart of the action. Short walk to The Bakery and Mega Super, which is by fat the best grocery store on the main drag. WiFi had some difficulty, to which the manage responded quickly and cheerfully.

Very expensive for what you get--it's just a room not a hotel. We stayed here during Spring Break (for others) so it was sort of a last resort. It is also incredibly noisy from the street. With earplugs and a noise machine we still woke up to the screech of ATVs every morning at 7. Beach access is a hike even though the beach is right behind it. We used the beach at Tropico Latino, which was booked but cost the same price as this basic room! Real beachfront hotel with a restaurant and all the amenities. Stay there instead.

Great location, super clean, good sized room.

Great location, 2 min walk to the surf, main supermarket and some of best brekkie places in the area. Good self contained kitchen and the cleaners always did a great job! Situated on the main stretch but still quiet. Would recommend.

Check in was a little strange as some* of the staff were totally disinterested and unhelpful (a first for us after 2 months in Costa Rica!). That said, a couple of the other staff were amazing too.

we enjoyed our stay bit for the price value could have been better

i liked the size , modern and nicely decorated

the shower was very hard to work and never consistent with temperature . could have been supplied better in kitchen and bathroom toilet paper . no Beach towels were available although right next to the beach. should include that as not being available . the lock on the outside door was not secure in type and also in installation .

perfect location, great value, amazing owners and staff.

location was prime on the strip and close to beach. the owners were amazing with information and offered a discount to rent a quad as they own both businesses. room was spotlessly clean with no insect issues. very moden design and memory foam mattress that was so comfy.

Great for one night - wouldn't want to spend my whole vacation here

Big and spacious apartment with own kitchen. Close to the beach and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Super nice hosts and uncomplicated check-in/check-out process.

Doors weren't good at keeping out noise and light, so the night was quite noisy. Construction work outside of our window starting at 6am.

Everything was perfect. Location, room, everyone was super friendly and very accommodating.

If you are staying on the street facing side of the building the traffic can be loud all night.
