Die Unterkunft hatte eine gute Lage zur Hauptstraße. Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich.
Es war geräumig in der Wohnung.
Es wird auch ein zuverlässiger Airport Shuttle angeboten (gegen Aufpreis).
Wo soll ich beginnen…
Die Ankunft war schrecklich. Zimmer wurden verwechselt, waren in einem umgemachten Zimmer.
War ein hin und her, da die Gastgeberin nicht vor Ort war. Nach einer langen Reise ist dies leider nicht optimal. Am Abend kam nochmal jemand vorbei und hat uns Handtücher und eine Decke gegeben.
Hatten 1 Rolle Toilettenpapier. Sollte eigentlich mehr vor Ort liegen. Das ständige Nachfragen im Urlaub ist mühselig. Die Unterkunft hat keine 250m2 wie angegeben, sondern es sind einige Wohneinheiten. Wenn man das Fenster öffnet hat es immer nach Gras gerochen. Über dem Bett hing ein Ventilator aber der funktionierte nur bei eingeschaltetem Licht.
Nachts leider nicht nutzbar. Am letzten Abend gab es ein hin und her bezüglich der Zahlung, wir wollten einen entspannten Abend verbringen. Gastgeberin wollte Bargeld oder Paypal Zahlung, obwohl wir über Kreditkarte die Unterkunft gebucht hatten. (Sie kam extra vorbei diesbezüglich) Auf den Preis den man bucht kommen nach der Bestätigung Reinigungsgebühren drauf. Die lagen bei 25 Dollar pro Tag, aber es wurde nie gereinigt. Dies sollte vermerkt werden bei der Buchung.

This is a review of our experience booking A Taste of Paradise because we did not actually stay at the reservation. I'll preface this by saying that I am blessed to have traveled a lot, and this is truly a first. My husband and I booked our stay at Sonia's place two weeks or so before our travel. We were quoted one price on Booking.com, which seemed reasonable. Closer to our stay, Sonia reached out with an invoice via Paypal. Since Booking said we would pay at the property, I figured this was her way of processing payments. I did not expect the additional 6% fee on the property. Most hosts will absorb that cost to keep their price on the original site, honest. This was my first red flag. Before our stay, Sonia was very communicative. She even arranged for a fabulous cab driver to pick us up. Upon arrival at our destination, the house looked NOTHING like the one we booked on this website. We waited outside, uncomfortable to enter because we were sure we were in the wrong place. After the cab driver triple-checked the address she was given(different than the one we had, and that we gave customs,) we called the host. No answer. We called her other number, no answer(this is all on the cab driver's wifi; otherwise, we would've had to use our international calling.) Finally, the cab driver rings the doorbell, and a woman comes outside. The driver asks if she is expecting guests, and she says yes, for Sonia. It turned out that we had been moved to a friend's home without our permission. When you book a stay, most folks calculate walking distance, look at cleanliness, and host reviews. When you change someone's stay, you change their choice. We would've appreciated a heads-up and the option to opt out of this new location.
It turns out we were now staying at Rhonda's Abode(also located here on Booking.com.) Rhonda(who was very sweet) has two dogs. I have allergies. Her home is also a lower cost on Booking, and needed to be cleaned prior to our stay. There was hair in the bed, mold on the shower curtain(see pictures) and ants on the sink. After one night in that location, I was very sick by morning, so we had to leave and book a separate stay last minute. I would've been willing to let this go, had I received a full refund. Unfortunately, Sonia did not want to offer that, as she cited that we had stayed one night. So she charged us for the one night we stayed despite it being in an entirely different location, where dogs were not mentioned, and we did not agree to stay. If we could've left the same day, we would've, but financially and safety-wise, it did not make sense to grab a cab in the middle of the night when we weren't at our original location. We left the next morning with the cab driver and went on a more comfortable stay. Customer service is huge to me, as is the principle of a matter. If you know that you've done something wrong, correct it. She could've even offered to charge us for Rhonda's place(which, again, is listed far at a lesser cost.) What I would have really appreciated is a full refund. For lodging us somewhere, we did not consent to, where the space was not healthy for me. If you have made it this far, make the decision for yourself. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. It was dishonest.

Sonia and her husband are wonderful super hosts.
They ensured that our stay was lovely and comfortable. She organized chauffer services during our stay and yes Mr.Almond took good care of us. The unit is a little gem, tastefully furnished. A feel of home away from home. We highly recommend this place. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Sonia!

This was our worst experience with accommodations ever. Sonia said we would be picked up at the airport. We were not. Our taxi driver could not find the location as we had no directions and the street was not named. There was no sign on the apartment.
As we were leaving in our taxi for the airport, Sonia came out of her place next door and we met her for the first time and she wanted US$ 206 in cash. We hope no one has to suffer through this experience. We feel a refund is in order.

Very cozy and has a home-like feeling to it. It was clean, with comfortable sofa and amazing bed. The host was incredibly kind and patient even when I had trouble with the GPS while trying to get there.

Run down and cramped accommodation. Not even basic toiletries included. No kettle for making tea or coffee. Even though the floor was clean, I spotted at least 1 cockroach and 1lizard, which had crawled in under the door! For what it was the price was exorbitant.

It was a nice and cozy property!
The main part was finding the location and street of the property. Unfortunately, there weren’t street signs at that the property.

It was central to several local attractions. Within walking distance of the Fish Fry, Conservation Center, Botanical Garden and two nearby beaches.

Was kind of clean, but the dust was on furniture
1) Location was mentioned much closer on booking, but after you book owner send you different location which further.
2) owner(Sonia) was not polite
3) bed was broken and cracked
4) very expensive for such apartment (better to pay more and rent a hotel near the sea)

Excellent condition and very modern furnishing. Was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely. Staff was very freindly accomadating and courteous. Excellent location and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend . I loved it and will definitely stay again. Thanks again Sonia

I choose this stay base on the location an man did I make a good choice 🤗 first of my host went over n beyond for me 🥰 really appreciated.I went for my birthday this lady an her husband told me where to eat where to go to make my stay more enjoyable,she even went far as to call an book some activities to make my stay and my birthday more enjoyable man I never experience this it was like Visiting family. NOW about location I choose not to rent a car however my host ensure I had access to a driver ,I was happy to be located 10 mins walk near the Fish fry,10 mins drive from down town via bus.I enjoyed my stay at the location feel so homie,clean,neat AC a1 an sumthing that I was amazed about was d fact I had Netflix am most place I visited don't have that option an I love TV so it's a plus for me .Please don't take my words for it please visit an have yur own experience. Mrs Sonia once again thanks for making my birthday trip so special I really appreciate it 🥰

The owners are so kind, and their hospitality is unbeatable. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is wonderful, with walkability to the beach, restaurants, Fish Fry, and downtown areas. I traveled with my mother but would feel safe returning by myself, too. We are so grateful to Sonia and Algernon for their kindness and cannot wait to return!

Great vacation rental within walking distance of the iconic Fish Fry area and Junkanoo Beach, located in a quiet and safe area of Nassau. The property was well-presented and clean, and has all the amenities you could expect within this price range (including good WiFi, airconditioning, two television sets, kitchenette). The checking in and out process was very smooth, Sonia was a lovely host and had great recommendations for things to do on the island.
No issues - property looked better than on the pictures and everything was working as expected.

Mrs Sonia and her family were amazing and great hosts! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs and requests. Recommendations they provided were on point. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better location. Close to shopping, restaurants, beaches and public transportation. Overall a wonderful place and would be staying here again easily!

The house is clean, functional, and practical due to its location near The Fish Fry.
Sonia is the best host ever. She took care of me from my arrival until my departure, she explained to me how to get around the island, she assisted me in booking the excursions, and helped me solve some problems. Just like a guardian angel.
After 6pm everything is closed.
The safety conditions of the island recommend that you travel only by taxi in the evening
