wont stay there again

location was good, far enough from bourbon street yet close enough for multiple trips a day

When we arrived I noticed there were lots of crumbs on the kitchen island that were clearly visible to the naked eye. So, I grabbed the sponge and wiped the island off. Because it wasn’t clean, I wiped the other counters off, only to find glass shards behind the coffee pot! Because of the glass on the counter, I then swept to ensure no glass was on the floor of the kitchen so no one would injure themselves walking bare foot. For the record the floor was nasty; tons of dirt, lint and Cheetos on the carpet. I next headed to the bedrooms and bathrooms; the master bathroom had a used/dirty face towel hanging over the shower curtain rod. Whether someone used it to clean the bathroom or for cleaning their body. It was disgusting and unsanitary! The master bedroom floor area in front of the door and television, was sooo unstable IF I weighed 300+ pounds I would’ve went through the floor! It didn’t feel safe nor sturdy. The view of the “parking lot” area -abysmal! There were pizza boxes thrown on the ground along with bags of garbage. Now, I’ll give that a pass due to it may have been house keeping throwing garbage over the balcony for later pick up, but it was not pleasant to look at for the time it laid on the ground. Along with all the construction equipment and supplies, totally disappointed in the view. And last, whatever company that is at the lower level, the music was loud during morning and afternoon hours and a forklift moving boxes in and out during morning hours was so UNACCEPTABLE. With that said, I paid $4000 for my family and I to feel safe, clean and have level of peace and quiet and WE did not get what we paid for. I’m sooo disappointed in this property and the lack of cleanliness I was expecting for $4000!!!! This was supposed to be memorable time for everyone but for me that time was taking away from family, because I had to go behind your cleaning crew and sweep, vacuum, wipe down counters and clean up glass. Time away from my family
