The location as close to everything!!!
Probably the outdated carpets and no microwave in the room other than that the location was perfect.

The Sheraton is in a great location very near the French Quarter but far enough away so the noise doesn't bother you.
The room was clean, you get a new bottle of water each day and tea/coffee making supplies replaced each day.
The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel was air conditioned.
The public areas of the hotel were air conditioned but too cold, I attended a conference there and sat for a full day in the cold was not pleasant.
When booking via booking.com apparently a package is added to the cost, the hotel cannot take this off. You do get a daily $15 discount of food and drink within the hotel if you charge it to your room, but you have to use it each day or you lose it for the days you don't use it. You also get a $30 discount on tours or attractions for each day you stay, but you can only use one per booking and cannot use one per person so we ended up having some left over.
This would be much better as an option on top of the room cost if you want to take it.

Lost our wallet the day we check out on September 27, 2026 and the house keeper didn’t turn it in till I called monday September 28, 2026 she said left it on her cart but she didn’t turn it in when she found it and that’s not making sense too me I was not pleased
