A great place to stay, if I was staying again I would pick a larger room on a lower floor.

Nice seating areas around hotel, decent breakfast (nearby hotel I stayed in last weekend didn’t have breakfast because it was off season), staff were friendly, plentiful off street parking, good location to walk to Victoria Park and downtown.

As I was in an attic room on the top floor, (South room) the sloped ceilings made it feel abit cramped especially the bathroom. Bathroom could do with a fresh coat of paint .shower tray was damaged and shower felt claustrophobic. Humming noise came on and off during the night, I thought it was the AC but in the morning figured out it was the fridge. Not great noise proofing, heard snoring during the night. Wi-Fi worked on the phone but laptop couldn’t pick it up in the room for some reason.

We look forward to staying in Charlotte again and the Harbour house is going to be our B&B.

Liked everything! It's one of the best B&B's we've stayed at. Great location with walking distance to town, yet extremely quiet. Super breakfast. Great staff. Nothing was overlooked on giving us a great stay.

Great value, charming little room

Everything is how you'd expect it to be for this little boutique hotel. The charm is in the fact that everything definitely needs updating but works perfectly fine and is comfortable and sweet.

Only complaint is that we got in very late (1am!) and they could not accommodate a later checkout, even by 30 minutes to allow us to eat/shower.

Wonderful stay in the most charming quarter of the city

We were upgraded at no extra expense on arrival. Our king room was very spacious, immaculate and comfortable. With a hot main course chosen from a menu, breakfast was more than we were expecting. Without exception, all staff members we encountered were friendly, pleasant, and helpful. This was a totally satisfactory stay in our favourite city in the Maritimes.

The best of our trip

Everything from check-in to check-out was superb. The front desk staff did everything a guest could ask for and beyond. The morning breakfasts were the best we had in the 28 days we traveled the Maritimes. Considering that Charlottetown was still recovering from Hurricane Fiona, the stay was excellent.

The owner was very considerate. We checked in after needing to leave our home post Hurricane Fiona. The Harbour House had lost its power as did the majority of people in PEI and had not yet gotten it back He worked very hard to provide a comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast, charging station for phones and responding quickly to any concerns. The house is beautiful, the rooms nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Both the bed and the loveseat pullout were comfortable with quality mattresses. The location was great! It's a short walk to restaurants, shopping and downtown.

this was a 3 night stop on our tour… and by far the best space! would not hesitate to highly recommend.

fantastic gem of a hotel… quaint, and friendly. the breakfast is amazing, facilities and staff were exceptional. located in the heart of Charlottetown, we will definitely be back!

this is not the place to stay if you have a hard time with stairs. (some rooms available on ground floor I believe)

Good

They need to do something for the parking bcz we parked our car at the road it was fine but our car is new . I was little worried . In the morning people was soo loud when they was having breakfast . Bcz I think not everyone goes for breakfast . We went late night and we was sleeping I the noise was bad .

a very pleasant experience

the location is great. it is in a quiet area close to the sea and a few minutes walk away from busy streets of downtown. amenities are nice and the breakfast included worked well for us. the place itself is old but well maintained and clean. it's actually pleasant to spend time in the building. 24/7 shared kitchens on every floor. free parking on the back. big screen TV in the room. daily room service with change of clean towels.

1-standing shower in our room was very small. it is important if you are a bigger person, need to help your kid with shower, are pregnant, or have special needs to discuss it with the staff. perhaps there's a room with bath because this standing shower would be a problem for anyone other than a slim young person! 2-I also had difficulty with the mattress. it is a thick and surely good quality one but extremely soft. even though I'm a petite person, I was constantly sinking in my spot!

Pleasant short stay

Great location. Room is of a smaller size but is very clean and comfy. Love the sunroom in the morning - a great place to relax with a coffee. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Breakfast is fresh

A Great Stay at a Beautiful Inn

My husband and I had a great stay at The Harbour House. A beautiful place with very friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The location is also perfect for walking around downtown Charlottetown. We will be back again for sure.
