This was a mom/daughter trip to check out UVM. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the hotel restaurant where we had a great breakfast with an excellent waitress. Check in was a little slow, and I’m not sure why my 17 yr old daughter and I were put in a room that seemed very remote with only a view of a brick wall from our window. The hotel was not fully booked, and it seems like a room such as this should be reserved for when no other rooms are available. We heard no other people in our wing and, being a woman alone with her daughter, I felt a little insecure being so far from hotel staff. I don’t know why the man at the desk felt this was a good idea.

We were in a basement room that was old and it very clean. The old heater in the room started knocking loudly at 5am until 6:30am waking and keeping us up. The service in the tavern was awful. She was mean and short with us until she got help and turned into the nicest person when it was time to pay. I will not stay at a Hilton again. You used to have a great reputation but this is my second Hilton hotel (different locations) with problems with our stay.

The room definitely needed some work. Lamp shade was completely stained, desk chair had stains on it, older furniture. Biggest issue we had was the poor quality on television. We are big March Madneas watchers and the tv continuously got blurred and glitched. We looked behind it, looked like cable was damaged and they taped it but that clearly wasn’t the fix needed.

The hotel is nice, big and located conveniently close enough to campus for our visit but unfortunately our room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We could even smell before we actually opened the door. The hotel was full that night so they were unable to provide a different room. I understand that this isn't a problem with the overall hotel, or the front desk/manager but you would think the cleaning staff would have done everything possible to improve the strong smell as it seemed quite fresh.

The hotel itself was great, clean- just noisy. Everyone walking above you or down the hall sounds like they are stomping their feet. Otherwise, nice stay- no complaints! Close to UVM!

Great place to stay they were very accommodating to my 2 young nieces and gave us a room very close to the pool. The pool is very clean and spacious but a little cool. Our room was very spacious and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The Tavern was great! The only complaint I have and it's not really the hotels fault more on the parents not supervising their children in the pool as it does say in many places NO DIVING in the pool and every time we went to the pool kids were diving.

The hotel was even more impressive in person than in the pictures! The room was very clean and the bed very comfy! The breakfast was nice and the pool was hot! Overall great. The staff was nice too. Would recommend

They put us in a room adjacent to a dog. The owners left the dog in the room for hours. The dog was yapping away for hours, and the hotel staff didn’t do much. Disappointed, as we’ve stayed there before and it’s nice. Probably won’t stay there again or recommend it.

Been a while since I stayed here but the hotel is still in excellent condition. Room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Maybe because it was New Year's Eve but the check in process was very slow.

Lack of elevator to reach our room (284) was a miss. Front desk staff was not inform about the new year’s activitys in the waterfront park. Extra blanket in our room would have been appreciated. Our room’s heating outlet was noisier. Tiny bathroom. The passage corridor within the pool area to access our room at night was definitly to dark to see. In a word, we did not get for what we paid for.

Our family had a nice stay this new years weekend. The kids enjoyed the pool a couple of times and loved the free cookies! Overall the hotel had a nice cozy vibe, good common area lounge spaces, and comfortable rooms. The only critiques I have is wishing there were a couple of pillows that were not so puffy (not a huge deal, more of a personal preference) and some more detail vacuuming of the floors. We slid one of the beds against the wall so our youngest could sleep against it, but the dust/dirt we saw when we did that was not so pleasant to look at. It didn’t ruin anything for us. The front desk also had a convenient text messaging system asking how the stay was and when I needed something I wrote back and got a response and also got what I needed.

Modern and very comfortable at the same time. Would have enjoyed having a microwave to reheat food from The Tavern or Atrium. Staff were all SO nice and professional. Best place we have stayed in Burlington area in years.
