the location was perfect! It was right on the ocean and near the beaches
We wanted to stay an extra night but they were all booked up!

Location, the Adirondack chairs on the lawn, chaise lounge area in front of room, restaurant
The door to our room was very difficult to open

We liked Claire the cleaning woman, she was very nice and prompt, efficient and helpful, super friendly. We loved being near the ocean.
the kitchen staff staring at us when we opened our door! and parking was limited.

great location.
the restaurant on site takes over the outside seating in afternoon/evening.

location was fantastic!
small sink in room and difficult to use without making a mess
a desk would be nice-couldn’t get work done in a private space

location
When we arrived the receptionist was very rude to us almost like they didn’t know what they were doing. Young lady & an upset young gentleman. They also didn’t explain parking and no introduction to the property at all.
no have a great time or do you have any questions.
Dining room was excellent service.

Location was perfect, close to shops and restaurants and the view of the water crashing on the rocks was amazing. The on site restaurant was delicious, best clam chowder I ever had with bacon! Staff was kind, professional, and helpful. Room was a good size with a huge TV and comfortable bed. No chest of drawers but had a space to hang clothes and a 3 tiered cubbie shelf so was doable. Also had deep nightstands that could fit clothes!
It would have been nice to offer a percentage off meal bill for guests staying there if dining at the restaurant Seacraft!

Good value, clean and basic accommodation, very close to the beach with on site parking. Friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant. Oysters were some of the best ever!
A bit of a drag they they don't serve breakfast and the rooms are a bit small by US standards.

This was a gift stay for my sister & her husband. The room and the view was lovely, there was a congratulatory anniversary card waiting for them and they found the room quite comfortable.
I wish I could have gotten them a two day stay, but there were no other vacancies. Certainly NOT the fault of the Shore House, it’s a great place to stay.

There was no breakfast offered only coffee and tea. But the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to make sure we had everything we needed. The woman at the desk ( I wish I had asked her name) went out of her way to make sure we had clean towels and sheets. The staff was always so friendly.

the bed and linens were comfortable but the configuration was awkward—futon under the tv, no chair. the facility was nice but did not have railings on the steps. AC made a noise and they called someone to fix it but it still made a funny noise. the porch and front area of the hotel was lovely.

the room was very beach retro. perfect for location. the room was tiny, but super cute with a comfortable bed.
parking was bit tight, and you couldn’t check in early. but, they tell you that up front.

location
very loud noise in corner of room and in the wall that kept us up all night. I went and explained it to front desk and they said they were aware of issue and were going to refund some money and never did.

So cute, stylish, clean, ocean view
Shower faucet just wasn’t the best choice. Not easy to use. Also the sink facet although stylish not functional.
7.0
great ocean view, really cute and functional updated rooms with balcony, comfy bed and futon. the bar is really nice too and they were nice enough to let us bring drinks back to our room
NO MICROWAVE 👎🏼. Not even one at or by the front desk despite there being a restaurant attached. No quiet hours - we had some pretty loud neighbors for two of the nights (we have two little ones) and the front desk said they don’t have quiet hours and would call to tell them to keep it down to get us off the phone (which they didn’t). No working ice machine so we had to go to the front desk every time. Another downer was the bathroom setup - the shower doors kept sliding open when using, and having the sink outside of the bathroom just doesn’t seem too sanitary.

I think an added bonus to staying at a hotel in Narragansett would be offering a beach pass/ discount
Being able to walk is great but paying to walk on the beach is costly especially on a day you may only have a shorter time to be on the beach.
the above issue

The location was perfect with beautiful views of the water. The design of the room was fun with reproduction mid century touches. The bed and linens were very comfortable.
The door was difficult to lock. The bathroom sink while cute was not very functional. The room was not well insulated and being on the ground floor we were subjected to lots of upstairs noise.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sitting area outside the front of the main house was lovely and right at the ocean.
The room was billed (by Booking or hotel?) as ocean view. While we could see the ocean, we were on the first floor of the motel part looking at the parking lot, dense bushes and the back of the main building. When sitting outside the room all you can see is the bushes and parked cars. A disappointment for our anniversary trip.
Most of us are spoiled with hotels that provide breakfast. It was difficult to find a place to eat breakfast. Many restaurants closed on Mondays.

The Shore House was really cozy and clean. We loved the small details in our room and it was the perfect stop on our road trip. We would have loved more night at this stop.
Right next to the road

The staff were all amazing. They were all super friendly and helpful. (and I mean everyone that I encountered).
The location is fantastic. The room (cottage number 10) is fantastic. The decor is very beachy - the bed was super comfortable and the room smelled fresh and clean. We (my husband and I) love the little deck/porch with seating. I can't say enough about this property. Excellent. It made the last leg of our trip so enjoyable. We wanted to book another night but the weather wasn't cooperating. I highly recommend this property.

Nice location, accommodating
Room a little smaller than expected but overall great stay. Some suggestions: add more mirrors, add a working toilet paper roll lol, more or larger trash barrels.. minor things.. love the balcony and view.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. It was a delightful hotel. My only objection was booking through a third party. I hope I NEVER do that again as I paid an outrageous price for what the charge was if I had booked directly with the hotel. The third party neglected to make the reservation however, they sent me several reminders of my upcoming reservation. What a horrible company and they made no compensation for the mistake nor the difference in charge.
A faster check in if the booking company had made the reservation.

The location. The bar staff was great
The menu. Very disappointing. Lack of selections. It seemed they were trying to hard to hard, possibly attempting to compete with Coast Guard House or Trio. We ate there once. Portions were small for the price. We also own a small restuarant bar and understand food costs. The chef needed to step down a bit from trying to have a Michelin type menu and instead just serve good NE food choices. We saw many people read the menu, have a drink and go someplace else to eat.
9.2
Fantastic location overlooking the water. Rooms were light and airy and full of sunshine. Beautiful well-kept buildings. Well thought out landscaping. Took advantage of the free cruiser bikes. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The small utility sinks in the room are cool looking but we’re only good for washing hands. Very difficult to wash your face or brush your teeth.
There doesn’t seem to be any sound proofing in the rooms. I could hear people‘s conversations in the rooms adjacent to mine. Could also hear people going to the bathroom. The sliding glass door in the shower slides open when you’re taking a shower.
I think these things can be fixed. I would still recommend this hotel for other reasons.

Such a cute place. Loved the location.
Would have liked to have a black out shade over the window since the porch light burns right into your room. Hubby rigged up a sheet to help it but it was still to bright. We are pitch dark sleepers though so it may not bother other folks.

The location is wonderful. After discovering breakfast was available, we enjoyed it very much. The retro decor was delightful.
I have never stayed in a more dysfunctional room - and I travel a lot........a whole lot. There was no where to put our clothes. The thing that I guess was a closet was horrible. Couch is worthless - you can't sit on it and watch TV. The room needs dressers/shelves/a real hanging area. We were there 4 days and used the couch as a closet. That entire wall with the TV needs to be storage. It can still be retro cute.
The staff did not tell us breakfast was available - not on your website. Had to go hunting for clean towels.
