Our stay was the perfect location. Comfortable sleeping conditions. I would not recommend the jet bath tubs, tried to take a bath and when turning on the jets, the water became filled with black specs/mold. Felt very dirty and would never try and use at any other place again.

Based on some reviews was a little hesitant but gave it a shot because of location. Checkin was nice, the woman at the desk was very pleasant, professional, welcoming and professional. The lobby is nice, modern, spacious and very clean. The pool area is clean and room temperature was comfortable. The pool water was perfect, not too warm and not too cold and the hot tub temperature was perfect and clean. The room was comfortable, well appointed, modern and clean. The bed was very very comfortable. The room has nice closet area, iron, table with two chairs, nice size fridge, coffee maker, safe and shower has excellent pressure. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel deck area, while closed for the season looks like it needs some updating and help but hopefully that is in their plans for spring/summer.

Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. ESPECIALLY Ashley, Soo sweet, and professional. But the hotel leaves alot to be desired. Except for the location. Location is great. Hotel is dilapidated. No amenities for the price they charge is not worth it. They don't believe in curtains for rooms.. only shades if you don't have a balcony with sliding doors?? Soo room looks like a prison cell. I did complain and get relocated due to this reason. Avoid this place!!

The pool hot top wasn’t working no gym? You spend all the money just to sleep the T.v ether was not the best small but was clean room and was nothing offer like breakfast ether specially around this time off the year cold outside nothing to do much and you got nothing to offer sorry .

Lots of kinks during our short stay. Reception did their best to rectify situation. No restaurant as advertised but there is one next door. If you visit in the summer would be a great location. Very close to the towers.

Was surprised at how small bathroom and shower areas were. View to beach was awkward facing. The jacuzzi was not working at all, and was one feature I booked this hotel for.

I wanted to stay near the water and the ocean is across the street. Numerous restaurant s are in walking distance. Room was clean and we were able to go to the.indoor pool. Just perfect! Although we were there off peak, there is so much to explore nearby.

The TV’s did not work. We brought this to the attention of the front desk on the first night, she had us move to a different room then after we moved our stuff, we had to move back because she said the room was booked for the next day. The next day we went to the front desk and they had no clue what we were talking about and said maintenance was not there. Nothing could be done. We paid almost $500 for a hotel that needs updating, rooms need air fresheners, they smell very moldy and no TV. It advertises a restaurant but there isn’t one. I requested a call from the manager to discuss the room and overall hotel. The gentleman who was working the front desk said he would leave a note. I haven’t heard from the manager yet. At one time I think this was a very upbeat/popular hotel but it needs updating and better systems for when there is a complaint. None of the employees knew what to do.

First time staying and I would definitely go back..so much to walk to nearby and was fortunate to have a balcony and view of the ocean. Staff was very nice during check in and check out.

The property is in a great location and front desk employee was helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is not kept up. There are scratches on the walls, missing molding, stains on the carpet and water spots on the ceiling on floor P. Rooms are overly fragranced, as if they are trying to hide a musty odor. It is disappointing, it could be so nice. We have stayed at the hotel several times over the last few years and we can see how the property is declining. I hope they can clean it up.

Place was not kept up well. made me sign paper that i wouldn't smoke in the room and then, upon entering the room, first thing i find is a cup with dirty water and cigarette butts.

We learned the local reputation of the hotel matched our experience. For what we paid, I feel ripped off! The staff was lazy and room was awful. The carpeted floor was wet and sticky. Hotel is in shambles like a surf dive hotel from the 70s.

Only disappointing aspects of our August Stay were the Inside Pool closed and lack of any Breakfast options. Given amount of Hotel Rooms / number of Guests and especially during Summer, hotel should really hire someone to clean Pool on daily basis. Despite only coffee/Tea options in hotel Lobby, a very good breakfast spot (Cool Beans) right around rear corner of Hotel.

This used to be our favorite place to stay each summer when it was the Village Inn. It’s so disappointing to see what has happened to it😞It’s almost as if whoever took over started what looked to be a promising renovation, then stopped partially through it. Our room had places on the walls that have been spackled but not painted, half of our light switches didn’t work, there were only 2 hangers in the closet and no ironing board. We had “housekeeping” on day 2 but they didn’t make up the bed, left one garbage can full, didn’t replace used glasses and took all of the used towels but didn’t leave us new ones. The pool and hot tub are still closed after years of “maintenance “. There used to be an amazing restaurant with a lively nightlife and now it’s just run down and empty-just so sad. The only positive thing is the proximity to the town beach, little shops and the Coast Guard House. Truly wish someone comes along with good business sense and a sense of pride in what could once again an amazing place to stay.

The location is GREAT! The problem is that the hotel has no restaurant, no bar. There are excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

The location can’t be beat. The rooms and the ocean facing deck are very nice. However, it seems like the place isn’t being invested in or managed very well. The pool is dismal, our room was never cleaned in 3 days and the staff, while very nice, was skeletal.

The property is close to the beach which is great. The room was falsely advertised. The walkout patio was extremely small and covered in bird poop.

The reviews for this place were not good, but we did not have any issues. Yes, the place could use some upgrades and the common areas a bit bland, but our rooms were clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The location is hard to beat and any surrounding hotels are triple the cost.

Just to be clear... I do not stay at this hotel for the hotel quality. I love the pier and the views, but this hotel is in huge need of some upgrades. Carpeting, furniture, elevator, cleanliness.

The hotel was nice and a good value. It seemed like a quirky building but with recent updates and clean. What we loved most was the location. It was an easy walk across the street to the beach and really great restaurants also within very short walk. Coffee shop and other shops also. We had a great time. Staff was also fantastic.
