Beautiful, Fun, Relaxing stay in Paradise, short drive from Miami.

Beautiful. pristine resort property. Mango trees, Plumeria trees, and beautiful flowers line the walkways and lawn. Peg, Jonathon, and Staff pay special attention to every detail of this immaculate resort. Free water sports, super clean and well appointed rooms, beautiful sunsets on the docks, and complimentary Homemade scones and coffee every mornings are what you can expect when staying at Coconut Bay Resort. Definitely recommend this Wonderful property!!! Look forward to staying here again soon!

Peace, quiet and tranquility from a family run resort.

This place is in a great location at Key Largo. Set in well maintained tranquil gardens with a very friendly atmosphere. It is a family run business who take great care of their guests and pride in ensuring we we had a great stay. The resort is very clean and well maintained and has a nice ocean view with good swimming and kayaking, which is free for guests. There is also a swimming pool that we didn’t use as we swam in the sea. There are a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance. The morning homemade scones and coffee are delightful and a nice touch, you get to choose from a different selection of flavoured scones every morning served by the lovely Rene. We took our coffee mugs from the room to save on paper cups and plastic every morning. We had a basic room rather than a suite which was clean and tidy and fine for the pair of us for a five night stay. The suites looked more spacious and are more likely to have a sea view if that is what you need. Air conditioning was modern and quiet. We slept well on the very comfortable beds. We would recommend this place for a nice relaxing quiet vacation.

We would stay here again just because of Jonathan and Peg! Very clean and great location!

Everything was very clean. Jonathan was so helpful!! Gave us great tips on where to eat or have a drink. Every suggestion was wonderful. Peg's morning scones were the best scones I have ever had and such a variety. Something you don't get at other places. Loved watching the sun come up and go down by the water. Very friendly place and quaint.

Our room was quite small. No vanity in the bathroom to set anything. No coffee in the room but they did give out free coffee and free fresh baked scones at the food truck. No pads on the chairs and lounges by the water. Very uncomfortable sitting on hard wood,

The location and grounds of coconut bay were absolutely beautiful. This definitely made up for th.

They had a food truck with coffee and scones.

The location of our room had no view whatsoever and the actual room was a disappointment to say the least. I expected a lot more for $4500.

Nice beach vacation without needing to go to another property.

Rooms were mostly individual buildings that were fully equipped with kitchens and dining spaces. They were also close to the private beach. You could snorkel right off the beach.

The price was a bit high.

Great Location, Comfortable Units, Exotic Surroundings

The location was great. Our room looked newly renovated and had comfortable furniture. We enjoyed the view and the plants outside. The place looked like a tropical paradise, we even saw iguanas running around and climbing trees and rocks. The hotel provided free kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment. We also enjoyed complimentary home-made scones that varied in flavor every morning. The place was quiet for the most part and we enjoyed the privacy of our own unit. The sunsets were spectacular and we even took out kayaks in the water to watch them from there.

The sign to get into the property was hard to locate and we missed it the first time around. The beach was more for sitting, not really swimming; it was more like a boat dock in a harbor. We thought the price was a bit high for off-season.

Great location and a beautiful, well kept property. Nice heated pool and it was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach area watching the iguanas and checking out the ocean creatures along the dock. The butterflies and birds were beautiful as well. Had a great time taking out the kayaks and exploring the area around us and use of the, snorkeling equipment all for use at no charge. The cleaning staff were very helpful when we ask for towels and where we dispose of trash. They insisted on taking our trash for us. Our room was neat and clean and appeared recently updated. We appreciated having towels for the pool or sitting on the beach.

Having a more comfortable chair to sit in rather than just the hard desk chair. Occasionally we could hear the guest in the adjoining room. We feel like more information at check in would be helpful. Example; do we have access to sitting at the picnic tables or using a outdoor grill. Where we were we had a couple chairs just outside our door on the walkway but not much of an area for sitting near our room. We walked down to the beach, pier area for sitting outside. Our reservation stated "does not include food" therefore; we weren't aware of the food truck with the scones and coffee. Had we known we would have tried it out. We were under the impression we would have to pay so we just went elsewhere. From the comments the scones and coffee were free. We really didn't have very much interaction with the employees or staff.

Worth it! Would stay here again!

The resort was quaint and quiet. Kayaks and paddleboards were available for guests, and the beach area was comfortable with plenty of seating.

The room was a little dated, but it was still a nice cottage feel.

An amazing a beautiful place to stay for a relaxing visit to a tropical paradise.

Excellent view with peaceful surroundings without a lot of interruptions to distract from the experience. Peg’s scones in the morning were excellent to enjoy while watching the antics of the iguanas. Snorkeling off the private beach had a few species of fish including juvenile barracuda, pipefish and a mangrove grouper on a second outing. The sight of adolescent horseshoe crabs scuttling on the beach floor attest to the health of the ecosystem.

Some ghost or pharaoh ants deciding to forage all over the cottage weren’t to bad. Their bite was akin to bird mites.
