Amazingly located hotel with the quickest access to the sea and greatly furnished beach bar. Very welcoming staff and nicely decorated reception. We are coming each year and will be happy to come again!

Very good

Ideal place to chill next to the beach, large and cosy rooms, friendly stuff and authentic Turkish breakfast. We were given free late checkout.

Language is a barrier with the staff; even in the reception English was an issue. Very bad smell like sewer coming from the shower. The hotel couldn’t provide one paracetamol for my headache with the excuse of security reasons.

comfortable room next to beach

visiting this hotel for three years. It is renewed this year. bakeshop and breakfast was better in the past. they also limited the duration of breakfast and sun-bed renting hours. For late breakfast, instead of limiting the menu they ask for a price like you are having lunch.

All pictures, poorly managed

No wifi in the room, after informing staff the day we arrived & the following day, we finally got given an internet box and left to our devices, rather than the staff coming to fix the issue, they threw the problem onto us to solve. Paper cups in room, we had to ask for small mugs & a glass - when asked why they don't have them, they simply informed us "so the cups don't break, so we don't provide them". When we left some breakfast plates out by the door for house keeping to take, they were still outside our door by bedtime. Felix beach is operated by another company NOT the hotel - therefore the staff at Felix beach ( the restaurant & bar ) are not connected to the hotel, the staff reserve beach beds for outside paying customers and NOT the hotel paying customers ( we paid £375 per night & couldn't get sun beds on the decking without complaining about it to the manager). The POOL DECK DRAIN is full of mould, it's actually disgusting, the grounds are clean around the pool itself, but the drain, all around the pool has not been cleaned green, black & slimy. Lunch is not to bad at Felix restaurant...but whatever you do DO NOT HAVE DINNER it was horrible. We would not stay here again, the staff are a poor representation of real Turkish hospitality, it's poorly run, and paper cups in rooms for the price we paid was not where we would come back as a family - book the pensiyon next door OR Flamm 50meters away.

Fancy place! Perfect for a chilled beach holiday in the sun!

Faros is a very nice and fancy hotel, located directly at the Aegean Sea. Breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and freshly baked bread, in a wonderful open air restaurant with view on the water. A well staffed and very professional team of waiters and waitresses takes care of every wish you have (Thank you Turgay and Ali! You have been great!). Perfect private beach with attentive and nice service. The receptionists are extremely friendly. Clean pool, quiet rooms, family friendly. A cute place far away from international mass tourism but still close to the tourist hot spot Bodrum. Definitely recommend! Thank you for the nice holidays and greetings from Switzerland. Unfortunately there was no room with separate beds for us. The shower could use a decalcification.

The service was ok- staff didn’t speak English really. Rooms were not as comfortable as expected for the price you’re paying. Wifi was not working.

Isn't worth the money

The staff helped with organising the airport transfer. It went smooth and easy. The location of the hotel is very good. It is at the center of the Golkoy beach. The room was very clean.

It is not a cheap hotel and the overall experience does not match the cost. Wifi never worked. Never. Not even once. The bed squeaked even with a minimal move. Loud music at the beach makes it impossible to rest there. It triggers people to speak louder, and kids to shout. The staff at the beach brings you things that you do not order. You think that it is a treat and then you see that it is charged as extra.

Maybe have a try at a different menus than purely Turkish..?

The property was great and the staff are amazing ~ DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM ANYMORE I found a price match and they refused to honour it they are liars stay away. I have been a loyal customer for 7 years and they lied to me. Worse customer service ever at booking.com avoid at all costs!
