I would stay here again and recommend it to others

Such a comfortable bed and pillows! Loved the claw tub!

Mixed Reviews

Location at the end of moonstone Dr insures less people traffic. The grounds of the property were sprawling and country-like. Many wholesome activities to enjoy.

Check-in. There is routinely only one person on the property to assist with any need. The desk manager was away, assisting another guest when we arrived. I waited 15 min. When I saw her in the parking lot, she was rude, and the exchange went downhill from there. I will say that her job must be difficult, but the hospitality industry demands politeness, and a "What can we do from here to help," attitude regardless. She treated me like a second class citizen for having used booking.com - which I will not do again. The on-site managers that followed her were helpful, but didn't seem truly comfortable in their role. The bathroom floor was filthy on the floor around the legs of the vanity. The wall and floor around the shower were bubbled and orange/yellow from water damage. I paid extra for an in room fireplace and we were given 1 tiny gunny sack bundle of broken up duralog type material for free each day that lasted less than an hour. There was a $6 charge if you wanted another tiny bundle. Given what we paid for the room, we should have been given as many as we wished.

Meh..

Close to the beach. Up the street from main street where you would get local goodies. Cleaning staff were nice.

Bed was uncomfortable. The room was musty and outdated. Parking was scarce. They advertised more than you actually got.

It’s a beautiful place close to the beach and the boardwalk. Fun activities in the group area and nice fire pits.

Excellent location for walking/running along shore, watching marine life, and walking to breakfast.

Excellent location near beach and oceanfront boardwalk, which is nice for walking or running. Located just across the road from a fine park-like point for viewing dolphins and sea otters. Conveniently located next to a good breakfast cafe. Short drive into town for good dinner restaurants. Easy drive to Hearst Castle and to Piedras Blancas elephant seal locality.

Light switches beside door in the room didn't seem actually to control any lights.

Booking Dash car misrepresented, and sold us a room that we never got. This hotel has not been improved and is a disgrac

We like nothing about this property. It was CD, dirty, had very few room, amenities, and all your representations about the room you sold us, as well as what they upgraded to us was a bunch of lies. Overpriced and not worth it. We have disputed the charges and we will be talking to you later about this. Shame on you. This property was not worth what they charge. It was that bad. And we have been traveling for entire lives over 50 years and I’ve been to many many establishments. Just shameful.

Where do I start? The rooms were silly‘s with, and felt unclean. They were not at all what they represented. A patio? It it looked more like a an afterthought. There were no closets in the room to hang your stuff. Just some hooks on a wall. A fireplace that hardly functioned. A bathtub in the middle of the room. Really! It just was pitiful. A restaurant is supposedly on the premises. It was a joke. It was takeout food and they didn’t have anything there. No room amenities, only one towel and a hand towel. Broken dispensers in the shower for shampoo. Truly just a most disappointing experience.

Beautiful location, comfy bed, family friendly and couple friendly!

We really enjoyed the location, and the facilities of the fire pits, games, beach access, and proximity of walking to the boardwalk, Leffingwell Landing, and the road to a Big Sur.

There were several broken items in the room including the shower door, the windows being stuck, the curtain missing the pull, a hole in the door, and handles missing minor features on the dresser handles. For the price you pay, you would expect these items to be fully functioning.

Would stay here again.

Staff very friendly. Location was wonderful. Grounds were beautiful. Bed very comfortable.

Outside of our front and back doors seemed dirty. We also had an ant problem in our room.

Love to return

Room was clean, comfortable. Loved the resort layout, location and amenities (games, activities available.) Nice pool although it was a bit cold and our group was quite busy as we had a wedding on site.

very nice walk to the beach.

because we booked with Booking.com we were not informed until we arrived that they were going to repave the parking lot outside our unit. We had to park elsewhere and did not have full use of the parking space in front of our unit at all. I am sure if I had booked direct with Oceanranch they would have told us that and we could have chosen a different date.

Had a great time and really enjoyed our stay with Ocean Point

The office staff was great. She was very helpful and polite! The location was great and fire pit sitting area was also great! Beach access was a huge plus and the availability of the look outs was amazing!

Coffee was poor, maybe look into Keurig pods. Also had some ants in our room.

The room was nice.

We stayed on a ground floor of two-story building and could hear everything from upstairs. And water pipes were very loud.

great place to stay, good value and friendly helpful staff

beautiful location, grounds were nice with fun amenities such as games, fire pits and s’more kits

we didn’t have enough blankets the first night and were very cold. the staff told us the hotel didn’t have enough comforters for each room.

Perfect stop on my way from LA to San Francisco

This small ranch themed motel was in a lovely location, an easy walk to the beach. Easily accessible, and very comfy the facilities were amazing and I had an enjoyable stop over on my way through. So much in the area I really wish I'd stopped longer, perhaps taking in a vineyard or two..

Very good

The Hotel location was great! It was close enough to the beach and had access by walking or hiking. The modern Ranch style decor was pleasant and fun. Available food from the Canteen was very nice especially on the first night arriving and in the mornings! Fire pits were great to use especially at sunset! The recreation areas and overall landscape was enjoyable.

The mattresses and bedding appeared to be fairly new(a big plus for us), even though the room was very clean, the room was invaded by ants that were all over the bed, under the pillows, on the TV cabinet. We had not ate anything in the room especially in the bed! This was about 9:30 ish in the evening. The room was in the Rose Garden / breezeway area. The inlaid rug could have used a cleaning for it felt dirty on the bare feet. We notified the office and they moved us to another room. The next room was very clean also, smaller but no ant guests. All in all it was a pleasant stay! We plan to come and stay again.

I was just mediocre

I liked the location to and from Downtown Cambria and Heart Castle.

I felt the property to be dated and rooms were damp. Condensation on the walls after taking a shower. The double queen room was a bit cramped. The beds need to re replaced with all white down comforters. Mattresses were old as well. I travel a lot and I didn't feel comfortable to relax, overall, I felt to the room was fair. I was hoping to have a little more of a luxurious feel to the room.
