Fun way to end a great vacation in Belize.

Location, staff, optional river tour, nice kitchen with room, nice common facilities in main building.

Air conditioner didn't work well.

Leuk hutje langs de rivier en dichtbij het vliegveld, dit is handig omdat wij de dag erop vroeg vertrokken. Personeel is op zich verder vriendelijk.

De hut ruikt naar rook! Ik vermoed dat er word gerookt in de hutten, maar er word beweerd dat het het afval is wat ze verbranden op hun erf, dat daar ligt van een orkaan van maanden eerder.

Situated right on the river and close to the airport. Mario was helpful and friendly.

Listing said checkin was at noon but when we arrived at 3:30 our room wasn’t ready. Accommodations were much more run down than the photos revealed. Coffee maker was full of mold and the water in the sinks started brown. It was also very disorganized in getting to and from the hotel, where to park our vehicle, where the office or staff were etc. No restaurant onsite so lunch/dinner requires a boat ride back or they will go and pick up for you.

Wonderful in every way

Excellent location- away from it all yet only minutes to the airport. Staff were very helpful and inclusive, was great to meet the owner Sandie too.

Served our purpose for 2 days prior to our weeks vacation.

Location was perfect but the property was run down and very disappointing because they have it on the market to sell and are not trying to upgrade. Pictures on website were probably accurate years ago but not today. We did enjoy and appreciate the two workers there who could not have been better. Close to Belikin brewery 😎

Have the chance to see dolphins and manatees here! We saw dolphins

Breakfast was very good and the staff came room to room to tell you it was ready, which I really appreciated. The grounds crew would also wash and prepare fresh mangos that just fell from the trees for us as well.

We were mesmerized by the animals and grounds here. The staff were equally impressive!

We were stunned when we arrived — the bungalows far exceeded our expectations! They are large, comfortable, well air conditioned, and nestled in a beautifully kept jungle-like setting. We appreciated the pool table, hammocks, rides to nearby restaurants, and the host’s wonderful hospitality. It’s also mere minutes from the airport. This is a hidden gem — we wish we could have stayed longer.

The property is a bit rundown. Owners aren’t around. Staff is amazing and so kind. That was probably best thing about our stay. Crocs, iguanas and birds. Nice continental breakfast included.

Very good for transit travelers

location very nice-near airport and the river. Very kindly staff.

Breakfast was very basic, without bread! The price of the small river cruise is to high (30 USD) per pax.

Relaxing river retreat

Staff was excellent! They met us at the airport and then took us across the river. Beautiful setting. We liked having a kitchen in our room.

We needed more time to explore the river and grounds.

The place needs a lot of work, and I wouldn't stay there again.

The setting was beautiful, and the bungalows were a cool idea. Waking up to the jungle creature sounds was nice.

The owners clearly aren't putting any money into it. Our unit was sparsely furnished, and everything was run down. There was a table with one chair and the two beds. We found a chair on the porch that had paint all over it, and used that. The WiFi didn't work the whole time, and there was a power outage so we had to pack up with no electricity. I would not recommend staying here.

Exceptional

It was very lovely staying here for my last night. It is located close to the airport which is what I needed. The free shuttle to the airport is great. I loved taking the boat to get to the resort. Very relaxing grounds. The staff were all wonderful. I enjoyed the hammock that is on the porch.

Superb

The woman in charge was always ready to help and the pontoon boat with a driver waiting for us on the other side was always available. It was a beautiful and quiet place for our one night stay before we flew out. It was right next to the airport.

May be ok for one night, but definitely not suitable for a long-term vacation.

My wife and I stayed at this resort for seven nights. Staff were friendly and helpful (at least in the beginning), and the scenery was beautiful. But...

We had no hot water for three days and no internet for four days. We were offered the chance to move to another cabana, but it was of a much lower quality (had three small beds and a very noisy air conditioner), and they said that everything should be fixed quickly, so we didn't move. We found several cockroaches and one scorpion in the bathroom (also one dead cockroach in the freezer)! The entire property of the resort may be large, but the vast majority of that is impenetrable jungle, and there is very little we could do there. We had to rely on the staff to take us across the river every time we wanted to go out and do something. One day we had to wait almost an hour and a half (and call twice) before the driver finally picked us up from another resort we visited.

Really enjoyed it here.

I really enjoyed our stay. We spent one night so we could catch our connection flight the next day. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The were also very accommodating when we needed to leave the property for dinner and a few items we needed to pickup for our travels. I would definitely stay again.

It was awesome.

The location was near the airport right across the river in a small town a few miles outside of Belize city. They were always checking up on us, making sure we had everything we needed, and were available to take us in shopping or to a restaurant. The room was quite large with cooking facilities. Breakfast was nice and one day, they made us a traditional breakfast.

Wonderful staff, peaceful location on river. Nice complimentary breakfast.

Ceiling fans were in poor shape so unfortunately they wobbled so much we really could not use because the sound was so loud. It made air flow a little challenging.

Exceptional

Great place, very cute cabanas right on the river in the jungle. Has good vibes and the staff and owners are very lovely, kind and accommodating. The dogs are sweet and very good guard dogs. Good place for single female travelers, safe location and the dogs add extra comfort as they will watch over you and probably even hang out in front of your cabana at night.
