Pleaseant and peaceful.

The breakfast was excellent. The choice of food in the restaurant was also good. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. We were so impressed we booked another 2 nights directly with hotel during the latter part of our holiday.

Cleanliness of the restaurant. Lots of stains on tablecloth and matts. The rooms are also looking bit tired and need redecoration.

Decent place to stay right at the heart of the shopping district

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, cooling, spacious and comfortable. Distance - so convenient to the shopping district, walking distance to the shops! Buffet for breakfast was on the 5th floor. The spread was the same everyday. There’s limited variety and this can be improved. We also had lunch there and the Food was yummy! Excellent chef and banquet manager was very attentive too. The staff generally have been very polite, friendly, accommodating and professional at the front desk.

When I first checked into the room, it was dirty and we saw a cockroach too. I felt the room was not sanitised or cleaned properly. We complained and they gave us another room and even told us that they cleaned it twice. The room was so much better than the first one. I just wondered why isn’t there any consistency in the cleanliness of the rooms. Appreciate the swift response from the staff though. The buffet table can get really messy and dirty. There were not enough staff around to serve you or clear the dirty tables. The buffet was really unpleasant to look at with food spillage, people leaving dirty cups and plates all over the buffet table. Great chef but pity that the waiters were not very professional. What was really strange was that fruit juices were served warm. It wasn’t cold or with ice. I definitely think they need to train their banquet staff to speak in both English and Tamil, train them to be more observant and to act fast.

I stayed at the Sai Baba Hotel for 4D3N with my parents. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The buffet breakfast spread was decent and we really enjoyed it. The bathroom facilities and the room, in general, are decent for the price paid. The hotel staff are all really friendly and helpful and we really appreciate how swift they were with our requests.

I think that the hotel restaurant's service could be a little better outside of the breakfast hours as we did have lunch on the first day of our stay and we had to wait long for our food, even though it was actually delicious.

Needs new management!

Nice building, well designed rooms, whoever built the hotel put some thought and effort into it.

The cleanliness was mediocre, dirty/sticky floors, unpleasant smell in the bathroom, underside of the toilet seat not fully clean. Service at the restaurant was inefficient and slow, coffee was stale. It seems there is a general management problem at this hotel, there were a great number of untrained staff, mostly boys wandering around aimlessly. It took almost half an hour to check in despite the fact that there were four or five staff behind the counter and we were the only guests checking in! This was the most expensive and least pleasant stay out of the four hotels during our trip.

Breakfast was ok but could have been better. Tea and coffee were really strong, prepared in advance and left in flasks but the waiters did get me fresh tea when I asked.

The window in my room didn't close so it was a bit noisy.

Very good

Location was amazing as it was pretty close to many things in T nagar. Room was very clean, my bed was made everyday.

During check-in I asked the staff if I could invite friends as i was visiting chennai after many years. He said yes. But later on followed up saying no guests allowed as i was a woman staying alone n no men were allowed to visit me . The staff called back again at 12 in the night cuz he mis understood that someone was in my room. If rules apply to men visiting me it must also apply to women visiting me.

breakfast not included with room located by very loud main road overcharged for airport pick up staff not very helpful when the airport pick up driver broke my new bag - hotel would not do anything but they’d arranged the pick up and I’d paid them direct - was not happy with their service
