First impression was very bad. We came to the hotel at 5 p.m. with the children sleeping on my arms but the lady from the reception told us to wait because the key to our room disappeared (something like this), after 10 min after my husband intervened that they could open the room for us with the spare key, we managed to get into the room. Breakfast was really poor: toasts and waffles, there was also additional disgusting scrabble eggs and muffins but it was really very bad. Together with my children we spent 15 days there so I prepared the breakfast in my room with vegetables. For 12 hours there was no electricity. Personnel in the reception and the lady who "prepared breakfast '' were really not pleasant. She was all the time on the mobile phones, speaking very loudly during the breakfast. Few times I was asking to clean my room, after my fourth request, somebody came, but I was vacuuming by myself. Laundry issue - they were giving back to us partially, we were waiting for my husband's clothes for 4 days. Maybe for one night, somebody doesn't care about quality, but IF You are looking for a hotel for more than several days, for sure i don't recommend this hotel.

Awful and disappointing spend your money somewhere else.

NOTHING

As soon as I walked into the room, I was hit by this awful smell that made me want to bolt. And you wouldn't believe what I saw on the pullout couch – a nasty brown stain that looked like it could be straight out of a horror movie. I mean, seriously, who doesn't clean their furniture properly?! To make matters worse, the bathroom was no better. There was a used towel left hanging there, like the cleaning staff couldn't be bothered to do their job. I'm so bummed out. I thought I'd get a great experience based on those reviews, but it was just a big letdown. My advice: don't waste your money on this dump. There are definitely better places out there that actually care about being clean and comfy for their guests. Keep searching, folks!

Close to the airport.

Booked this hotel because they had cribs. Booked a two bedroom suite through a third party, for four adults and a toddler. Got to the hotel and no cribs could be found. Took 45 minutes to get switched to two king rooms so the toddler could sleep between her parents because the manager kept calling and talking to the check in person. The carpet is coming up in the doorway of the bathroom and I stepped on the carpet tack. Fake press on mail in bathtub. Closet had falling down shelves sitting on the floor. . I was one of the first down to breakfast in the morning. There were chicken wing bones in the elevator. Food was already cold and gross, bagels were stale, and with very few options. I chose this hotel because of the crib, and because it had higher ratings then many others. Not sure why or how they rate more than a 6.

How friendly the staff was and how clean the room and facility was overall.

jacuzzi jets didn’t work, overpriced, unfriendly staff, forced to go to reception to be let into pool area, didn’t get the king bed suite I pre-paid for, no room service even after requested.

great hotel with lots of amenities like the grills outside.

Great facility - kitchen well stocked with utensils and dishes- better than most suites. Location is great - near major roads and expressways- but off the road in a quiet area.

I reserved two rooms but when I got there one had been canceled because they claimed that my card was declined, but I never got a call or e-mail letting Me know this, so imagine my frustration when I got there and only had the room which cost the most! Why would one room get paid for but the other declined because I have a high daily spending limit and these prices were well inside those limits!! They gave us a room in another hotel across the parking lot but it sure would have been nice to be closer together! Because of this, I would hesitant on booking there again because of the possibility of the same thing happening without any notification. And by the way, I don't think it should have been up to my bank to inform Me when I didn't reserve the rooms from them, but from TownPlace!!

TownPlace Suites is in a quiet location even though a freeway and major street are nearby.

There was no chair in the bedroom.

I definitely will be staying in this Hotel on my next visit to Michigan

My daughter and I really enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfasts were delicious. I love the shelves, drawers and cubbies in the room. I was able to unpack my suitcases and hang my clothes. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few minutes to my daughter's house and lots of choices to eat . The music was very relaxing in the speakers.

I was surprised that the closet was locked. When I stayed there before, the closet was one of the room's best features. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit while smoking I did have an angry exchange with another .guest, she didn't have her dog on a leash and he kept trying to bite me. She was verbally abusive to me and never picked her dog up. The staff did immediately handle the situation for me.

There was nothing that I really didn’t like. The only was I thought they would of had more choices for the breakfast but other than that I really enjoyed my stay.
