Trotz überteuerter Restaurantpreise ein tropischer Traum

Gutes Frühstück in schattigem Raum mit fantastischem Gartenblick. Der Pool, eingerahmt von blühenden Stauden ist ein Traum. 5 Min. Walk zum fast menschenleeren Strand.. Absolut ruhige Lage. Nach dem Pool genügend Liegen in Sonne und Schatten zum Relaxen. Sehr herzlicher Empfang vom Owner Anjuna. Große Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Die Aircondition ist auf dem neuesten Stand - sehr leise.

Die Getränke im Restaurant sind unverschämt teuer. Preis - Leistung beim Essen - außer Currygerichte - ist ebemfalls überhöht. Am Abend ist der offene Speiseraum durch LED - Beleuchtung ungemütlich. Direkt am Hotel besteht keine Bademöglichkeit im Meer. Ca. 20 Min. Walk zur Koskoda Beach

Serene little oasis next to loads of turtle conservation sanctuaries

Lovely swimming pool, good and quiet air conditioning, great menu at the hotel’s restaurant and fairly priced. The hotel owner also took us to look for turtles laying eggs in the evening and we managed to see one!

Some of the other guests could have been more respectful (playing loud music from their phone in the pool) but that’s not the accommodation’s fault

Doporučujem na sólo dovolenku, relax pre menšiu skupinu alebo “digitálnych nomádov”.

Majiteľ Arune bol mimoriadne prívetivý a ochotný. Veľmi rýchlo sme sa cítili nie ako na dovolenke ale ako na návšteve u priateľa. Pozná všetkých v okolí, vie kde a kedy treba ísť. Zasadne nám to uľahčilo pobyt. Táto vila to je Arune. Neskutočný pokoj na tomto mieste. Ani nemusíte nikam ísť, opice pozorujete priamo z terasy pri raňajkách. Poloha zariadenia je celkom strategická a pritom poskytuje kľud.

Приятный, комфортный мини-отель с отличным обслуживанием. Жили неделю, нам дали отличный номер с видом на океан. Вкусные завтраки, мы не едим молочку и хлеб, поэтому персонал старались приносить нам замену тех продуктов, которые мы не едим. Обходительный хозяин, который помог нам и места хорошие найти, и байк арендовать, и просто все время быть в комфорте и спокойствие. На территории отеля отличный бассейн, обустроенная территория, 100 метров до океана. Часто на заборе сидят обезьяны, рядом с территорией гуляют вараны - очень аутентичное место, точно не соскучишься. Номер комфортный, просторный, с красивым и уютным балконом. По ночам слышно, как бьются волны на берегу, очень приятно засыпать под такие звуки. Один раз заказывали ужин в отеле, цены немного выше среднего, зато сразу включены 10% налогов, что в принципе выравнивает цену с другими кафешками.

Beautiful stay in wild beach area

The venue is really close to a beautiful, wild beach, close to turtle sanctuaries and much nature. Very much recommend, and unlike a lot of venues we stayed at in sri lanka, the shower and bathroom was fantastic. Definitely recommend

Would highly recommend to travellers staying in the Kosgoda area

The host was incredibly kind and friendly and was happy to answer all of our queries. He kindly gave us a complimentary trip in the villa’s tuk tuk to a nearby sea turtle conservation and hatchery site, which he recommended as it was a legitimate conservation site. Rooms were spacious and clean and the meals were delicious.

Great hospitality

We felt at home, not least because our children were happy to swim in the pool and to hang out with the staff. Also, the host always had very good recommendation on what to do and see and was happy to organize without being pushy.

Lovely cheap simple place near a perfect turtle beach

The hotel is less than 100 metres from a remote stretch of wild surf where turtles beach themselves. There is a TCP (turtle conservation project) in operation and locals are charged with collecting eggs from the diggings and it is possible, under strict guidance, to approach the turtles in the dark quite freely, if without light, with the help of the manager who is exceeedingly helpful. Due to a huge international resort nearby that has failed, leaving a a large number of deserted bungalows, the stretch of beach is preserved and perfect. The charge for the facilities is unbelievably cheap, but good.

The care taken could not be bettered. The breakfast alone would cost more in the Uk than the entire price of the stay.

Better than the pictures! Private villa with pool! Loved it

Hotel is family run, more like a private villa, it was the best experience I had, you are treated with amazing customer service and all your needs are taken care of. I had a bad experience in other hotels so I wasn’t sure about this one but it really exceeded my expectations 1 min to the beach and is a very long stretch You see turtles too at night, not far from super market and local food shop Villa has a pool - just like the pictures, room has AC and a fan! I didn’t want to leave and yes I will be back 10000%

Great place. It was our last place staying in Sri lanka before flying back home and we were really happy to stay there. Spacious and clean room with increadible beachfront view. Tasty breakfast also you can order a dinner in same place because there isnt any restaurants around. ofcourse pool was the best. Very helpful and friendly host with good english. Its a great place to relax for few days because there isnt any shops and tourists around. So its quiet and relaxing place.

The host is good, the pool is clean, nice breakfast. Turtles come to the nearest beach in the evening. Really liked this place.

Sometimes Wi-Fi is bad. A bin in a room would be useful.

We really loved the accomodation, it was the cleanest room of our journey. The stuff is super friendly, especially the host who was more than motivated to show us the tutles at the very close beach. We also wished sri lankan breakfast which was amazing. Thank you so much for this beautiful stay.

An excellent stay

Turtle Paradise Villa. A small very modern lovely building with just 5 rooms. Four on the first floor, good size, high ceilings,a/c, balcony and a view of the sea 100metres away. A pleasant garden with a sparkling nice size swimming pool. Breakfast was ample, a plate of sausage, egg, tomato or other vegetable or pancake with lots of toast butter and jam. Accompanied by tea or coffee, fruit juice and a fruit plate to finish we found lunch unnecessary. It is less than 100 metres to the beach. A stunning stretch of empty coastline. Walk north to the right, no beach buildings for kilometres. South to the left has a few small hotels in about 800 metres and a kilometre further on the incongruous Sheraton monstrosity, fortunately way out of view. The staff are all excellent. Friendly and helpful. the owner is able to arrange any assistance you need or leave you to your own planning. Airport pick up, onward taxi transfer, local tours all can be attached. Exactly what we wanted, a spotlessly clean quiet friendly place for a few days strolling the beaches.

Really enjoyed our stay after a long journey

Food Plentiful with lots of variety. A bit too much sweet for us personally in the breakfast. Veg curry delicious. Staff very helpful organising tuk tuk etc. Pool lovely as swimmming not possible in the sea. Enjoyed monkey feeding time. Very peaceful. Good quantity of drinking water provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at turtle paradise! Very nice little hotel, great pool (perfect for our 5-year old son because he could stand on one side of the pool), great breakfast (all or extra wishes were fulfilled), beautiful lonely beach 50m away. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful and relaxing family run guesthouse

Very quiet and relaxing stay. The beach is only a short walking distance,the waves can be heard which provides very restful sleep :) The food is exceptional. Aruna,the host,is extremely friendly and attentive. Our best stay in Sri Lanka so far.

Superb

Restaurant at the hotel had amazing food, very friendly staff. Big and clean bedrooms with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Hotel owner is great at organising turtle viewings one of the many hatcheries nearby.

No restaurants or shops nearby, not the hotels fault but just as an FYI.
