Situated in Marco Island, this lovely house for $842 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Hemingway House of Marco Island, short term rental From the moment you enter the home, it feels like relaxation. Enjoy the lovely view, have a nice drink on the upstairs balcony or take a swim in the pool. The sunrise over the water is particularly captivating. That`s when you have a good chance to see the dolphins come by and greet you. The house is so comfortable, with bedrooms with a king-size bed, closets, TVs, attached bathrooms, oversized balcony upstairs with a swing couch overseeing Bimini Bay. The nightly rate is based on ten people in the party, the house sleeps up to 12 people in beds and 2 additional people on sleeper couches, however, any additional people ( children as well ) beyond 10 people there will be a charge of 50 dollars plus tax per additional gueste per night. Thank you for your understanding. Upstairs there is hardwood flooring and the downstairs has tile flooring. Attractive ceiling fans as well as comfortable lighting. Very comfortable relaxing atmosphere, Key West style home with wraparound porches and exquisite interior. The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is not suitable for having loud parties on the premise, therefore people who want to enjoy a wonderful quiet vacation are welcome. Papergoods such as toilet paper, kitchen rolls will be provided for the initial days, but it is understood, as the week goes on the guests will purchase their own goods. This home is NOT suitable for loud parties and festivities. The city of Marco Island has put new noise ordinance in place which will have them send the police out to write tickets. Please no loud music around the pool and preferably have everyone enjoy the inside after 8 pm. No garden furniture go into the pool since it hurts the surface of the pool which can be very costly to repair and the tenants will be responsible for this expense. We offer one space for your car in the garage and two spaces in front of the garages. If you have a fourth vehicle it needs to go to another location. To our boater guests we have to ask you to bring the trailer to a different location since there is no room in front of the garage to accommodate a trailer and your cars. We had 3 different families, total of 10 people ages from 3-70+, and it was a great layout. Spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, ample living space (indoor and out) made it comfortable for everyone. There was something for everyone with the pool, hot tub, bikes, grill, outdoor seating/lounging, and the tv/Sonos system.
It was a nice location overlooking the water, easy to bike to the store/around the island, and a quiet neighborhood.
We did not have any problems and did not need to reach out to Marlene but she proactively messaged to make sure things were going well/see if we needed anything. We were confident she would be responsive if we did need to reach out.
We’d definitely rent again when returning to Marco Island.

The property was absolutely perfect. We had a family of 10, everyone was able to gather together in the living space and still feel like there was a ton of room! Bedrooms were fantastic, spacious and comfortable for some privacy.
EXTREMELY responsive with any questions- even on Christmas day!!

Marlane is a fantastic host! It had rained heavily prior to our stay and she stopped by to check on the condition of the pool and property. She was very responsive and kind. The house was spacious and well equipped. Our adult children loved the 9 bikes, kayaks and the hot tub. Great place to escape!

We had a great weekend on Marco Island staying at the Hemingway House! There were a total of 4 couples staying in the house, which was spacious and well-maintained. Enjoyed lounging by the pool and using the bikes to get around the island.

The house was super clean when we arrived. The checkin was easy and the house was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the place was perfect for the family of 8 adults and 5 small children under the age of 8.
The pool area was amazing with a hot tub. The kids played in it every day and the weather was sunny and warm. We saw dolphins swim

The house is very well located with plenty of parking in the driveway. There is no parking on the street! It's a short drive to the beach and easy walk to the shops.
The house is well equipped with a well stocked kitchen, lots of TVs and a comfy sofa that seats alot of people. There are five bedrooms and 5 baths that work well for a lot of people.
I would highly recommend this house!

The house was perfect for our families! We had awesome views of the intercoastal from the pool and wrap around porch. Each room has a private bath and the amenities were great. We enjoyed using the kayaks, beach cruisers and beach gear. Just bring your clothes and food, and leave the rest at home!

We loved this home! It worked perfectly for our adult children and their spouses. The house was clean and well equipped with towels, and other amenities. The curb appeal was beautiful. We enjoyed riding the bikes (there was 10!) to coffee and breakfast, kayaking (4 available!) and relaxing at night with drinks, pool and hot tub after a fun day at our nephews wedding. We knew our host always available however we never needed her! Location was prefect and close to everything. highly recommend!

If you’re in any way on the fence about choosing the Hemingway House for your stay, jump off that fence right now and BOOK IT!!! My family of 10 ranges in age from 13 to 86, and it was the perfect home for each and every one of us. The bedrooms with en suite baths are enormous. One of the things we loved the most was the multitude of seating areas both indoors and outdoors. The pool is lovely and we spent every afternoon enjoying it. Our family also made great use of the kayaks. There are plenty of beach towels and other beach necessities, you won’t need to worry about a thing!
The kitchen is so well equipped, we cooked dinner in 3 times. The grill is easy to use.
Marlene is a gem and so easy to work with. Our family made memories to last a lifetime and so will yours!!

Absolutely wonderful! Our family (Grandparents, Children, Grandchildren) gather together for an annual vacation and this year we decided on The Hemingway House on Marco Island. Communication with the Property Manager was quick and easy. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. We were pleasantly impressed that the kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, glasses, plenty of pots and pans, blender, coffee makers - Drip maker and K-Cup, slow cooker, etc. Spices and Olive Oil are in the spice drawer in the island as well as in the pantry. Plenty of Pool/Beach towels located in the laundry area. We loved that the home was also equipped with pool floats etc (side of house, on porch in a storage cabinet). We used the Kayaks located in the garage and everyone loved those - even used the kayak lift a couple of times for easy in/out of the water. Lots of bicycles in the garage for multiple folks to enjoy together. We rented a Pontoon Boat and had it delivered to the dock for the weekend use. Each bedroom offers ensuite bathroom so everyone gets a great room! Really loved the "hideaway" bedroom located past the laundry room - felt intimate and the mini-split AC unit kept it good and cold in that room. We were able to park 4 vehicles at the house. One vehicle in the garage and 3, side by side, on the driveway. (and the three on the driveway were 2 big trucks and SUV). Very easy access to everything around!

Property was easy to get to. Had 10 adults and 2 children and we all slept comfortably in the 5 bedrooms. Brought 4 cars... one parked in the garage and the other 3 (2 trucks) fit nicely in the driveway. Property was spacious, very clean and had all the necessary amenities. Whether it was relaxing by the pool, eating dinner or unwinding in front of the TV after a day of boating... there was always plenty of space for everyone to hang around. Beautiful property and large enough dock to fit a 23' pontoon. Would definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay at the Hemingway House!! From the time we arrived to our last moment there Marlene was very responsive with any questions or concerns and was very communicative and made sure we had a great stay. The house itself was perfect for our group, four couples. Plenty of bedrooms and everyone had their own personal space. The common areas accommodated our group perfectly. The pool and hot tub was the perfect temps for us and were very enjoyable during the day and evening. The views are breathtaking and we even watched dolphins in the channel on several occasions. Everyone in our group looked the home, amenities, and had only glowing remarks. We plan to stay here again in the future, one of our best experiences and we loved the area.

There were 8 of us that stayed at the house. Everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom worked out perfect. We enjoyed the pool every day and made great use of the bikes and kayaks. We really enjoyed our stay.

We rented this house for my husband’s 70th birthday. We were 5 couples and 2 singles for a total of 12 adults. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of this house! Marlene was great about communicating everything we needed to know! All 5 couples loved having a king size bed and their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked.(Could have used a couple more garbage bags) The house was comfortable to hang out inside or out by the pool and hot tub…lots of comfortable seating. I would definitely rent this place again and recommend it to friends.

The Hemingway House is large enough to easily handle our 10 adults and 3 kids (under 2). There was a bathroom for every bedroom and plenty of seating for dinners/lunches whether inside or outside. The house was very clean and the pool was a consistent 85 degrees and the hot tub heated up when needed. We rented a boat for a week and it is a great location to get out to the main water and over to Keewaydin island and fishing. Marlene was great to work with and helped make sure we had the necessary equipment for the little ones. Really would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it!

Marlene did an awesome job with communication throughout our stay and the place was perfect for our 10-person group! We had two little ones and they loved the pool, all the families that came had their own space, it was a trip to remember thanks to how wonderful the place was.

There were 10 of us that stayed for a week during the holidays. It was perfect. It had everything we needed. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Marlene was amazing and very responsive to any questions I had. The location was great. Totally turn key, only needed groceries. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful family vacation place! We loved everything about this property for our family. The house had plenty of space for everyone and we really enjoyed the open living/kitchen/pool area for a gathering space. Our teenagers loved riding the bikes to the local Starbucks/Publix. We rented this beautiful house for a family ( ages 87 to 3) getaway, The house was perfect for us. Big bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Everything we needed was available. The owners and manager added little surprises to make us feel even more welcome. We rented the house after a hurricane and the house was immaculately clean! The grounds were surprising cleaned up and the pool was ready for us! The Hemingway House made a perfect location for a special family weekend.

The Hemingway House was a wonderful vacation rental for my family! I highly recommend. Everything was perfect and just as pictured and described in the listing. The house was very clean, well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare an amazing dinner. The family room furnishings, including a very nice TV was great for family movie night. This house truly had everything that your family would need for spectacular vacation. We would definitely rent again. Highly, highly recommend!!

Where do I start? First of all, Marlene was a great host. We got the chance to meet her at check in and she was gracious enough to walk us through this beautiful property, gave us the history of it and explained some easy-to-follow house rules.
Now, on to the property: the pictures in the listing don't do it justice. What a beautiful, clean, spacious house! Every room has its own bathroom and unique style to it! They each have their own AC unit which, by the way, worked perfectly! The pool is awesome and the whole property is fully equipped. We only had to buy our food and drinks, that's it!
We were able to take full advantage of the kayaks and bikes that come with the property, my buddy was able to use one of the fishing rods (to no luck!), and the propane grill worked perfectly, something that we used everyday!
This property allowed a group of 12 adults (6 couples) in their low 30s to be perfectly comfortable. We never felt crowded at any point! Overall, we had absolutely nothing to complain about and we will look to stay here in the future.
