Situated in Lake Wallenpaupack, this charming house for $400 per night is a great option for your next trip. Beautiful lakefront log-home style vacation home with spectacular views, fireplace in a community with two outdoor pools and one indoor pool; it is located on Lake Wallenpaupack in beautiful Lake Ariel, PA which is about 2 hours from New York City. You will look out your windows to beautiful views of the giant lake. Unlike being on a small lake, which doesn't allow powerboats or jet skis, Lake Wallenpaupack is a gigantic power boating lake (15 miles long). BYOB! (bring your own boat) or you can rent pontoon boats, wave runners, and speed boats for the day and park them at your own dock! We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards as payment, but not American Express, sorry. Renter Requirements: Renters must be 30 years of age or older and we will require photocopies of drivers licenses to ensure compliance with this rule. Families with children are the only exceptions to this rule. There is NO smoking in the house. NO CATS are allowed. Community: For summer renters, there are two outdoor pools....There is a nice lodge at the nearby pool which offers games for kids & teens. There are tennis courts at this pool area which must be reserved in advance at the main office. There is also an indoor pool which is about a 2 minute drive and there is schedule of times that it is open. All community amenities require badges which we will provide to renters.Fishing: there is ample opportunity to do so and the fishing is great in all three lakes (Lake Wallenpaupack is the BIG lake, and the two smaller lakes in our community are called Deer Lake & Beaver Lake, which are both NON-power-boating lakes). If you wish to fish, you MUST get fishing licenses to do so (adults). It is a simple process and it is very inexpensive, but it could cost a lot of money if you fail to have one and get caught fishing without it! Please contact owner for website where you can purchase your fishing license. Property was exactly what the advertisement started. We were all so relaxed that we were almost to tired to do anything. Dock was perfect for our teenager to use her jet ski. Would highly recommend and have recommended already. We will definitely return

The perfect house for our family and 2 dogs. It was so nice to have such a great house in such a great location for our family. Our older teen girls and our 2 golden-doodles were able to jump and swim right from the dock, we rented a boat for a few days we could tie up and made it so easy in our day. The deer were amazing and not at all scared-my daughter was able to hand feed some apple to 2 of them. Martin's house was clean and well-stocked- there isn't a thing I would change or suggest.

Felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Beautiful house and view! We had visits from the very friendly deer each day. Rented a pontoon boat a day and it was convenient using the dock onsite. I had my dad who is currently dealing with issues with cancer up for a few days, the peaceful atmosphere is just what he needed! We can’t wait to return! It was a wonderful house and location! 2 Families of 4 stayed there comfortably and had a wonderful time. The lake is gorgeous, the firepit was so peaceful and the screened in porch was nice when we had some rain. We rented a pontoon and tubed and had the BEST time. The WLE amenities are amazing too. Highly recommend the house!

The location of this home was great! The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We loved the daily visits of the deer, some even ate from our hands! The weather was our only disappointment. The smoke and haze from Canada blocked the sun and it was very cold a good part of the week, but we still had a great time. Also enjoyed playing ping pong. Would love to come again.

Had a wonderful relaxing Christmas week stay with our kids. They are 27 and 16 years old. Plenty of room to spread out. The home is immaculate, adorable and cozy for a winter stay. Can only imagine how much more fun this property would be in the Summer. Hope to come again! Thank you Martin for your quick correspondence when questions arose!!

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The location was great. We really enjoyed the view of the lake from the living room and porch. Being able to bring our golden retriever was very much appreciated. We highly recommend staying at this cabin on the lake.

This is our 4th stay at this stunning location. The fall foliage combined with the setting and view of the lake was just unbelievable. This house is so cozy and I am always sad to leave. My favorite vacation spot.

This was our second stay here. Martin is very quick to respond to any questions. We took a trip to Bushkill Falls, but you would be perfectly content to stay in the home all weekend. The location on the lake is spectacular. Spent lots of time by the fire pit making s’mores and inside reading by the fireplace. We plan on returning next fall as well!

Great quick getaway with the family and dog in a beautiful peaceful setting. Property is amazing and we always enjoy our stay. Boys got a kick out of the ping pong table in the evenings and we love the bonfire. We will definitely be booking again!

This house was the perfect get away! The location had plenty of places to walk with your pet! The view from the large deck was amazing, also having our boat docked and in sight was comforting! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! Robin & Rich

Loved the property and was surprised by how private the settings were.. we had hardly any neighbors the whole week. If you don't count the tame wild deer looking for handouts of apples corn and peaches from the young kids hands. Only downside was the Lake is rough so bring good boat padding if bringing a boat.

Home was very much as pictured. Only negative was all the steps down to the lake. Wonderful fire pit area and screened in porch. Owner provided kayaks and firewood which was very helpful. Neighborhood has nice amenities for children. It was very relaxing to be right on Lake Wallenpaupak.

We had the best time. The house was perfect for my family. The screened in porch was fantastic and so spacious. Awesome dock to watch the eagles and osprey! Great fishing too. It was all around a pretty perfect week! My younger brother said it was his favorite vacation he’s ever been to, that says it all!

This property is very nice. It is as it appears on the website. Clean n amenities work n are all in great job. Stairs are a bit of a climb but not bad. It’s pretty quite and the large deck n s greened in deck make it even better.

We are an early 50’s couple who spent an enjoyable week here with our dog. I should note for others planning to bring their dog, she was not a fan of the hardwood floors which, baring a few area rugs, cover the entire house. I’m not sure why she thought they were slipperier than the hardwood we have in our own home, but a trip to the Walmart in Honesdale for some additional runners remedied the situation. The kitchen is well equipped including all major appliances, coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans etc. Linens are also included. The sheets/towels were of varying quantity (e.g. I could only find 1 washcloth) and quality so if you’re picky about that you may want to bring your own. We ate in most meals and enjoyed sitting at the dining table looking out at the lake. We did curbside pick-up from the Weis in Hamlin which worked well. We fished off the dock daily and really appreciated being right on the water. No one adheres to the no wake zone and the dock can really get rocking, but it was still fun. We also enjoyed playing ping pong, the fire pit (LOVED the double adirondack chair) and went to the Rockledge outdoor pool. The pool has benches and picnic tables and you can also bring your own beach chairs. It’s heated (85 degrees) with a slide and diving board and is super kid friendly. There is also a snack shop with a surprisingly extensive menu. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This place is very kid friendly and casual, so if you’re looking for something upscale this might not be for you. If you’re looking to stay on a recreational lake in a development with many family friendly amenities and a fully-equipped kitchen so you don’t need to leave I would definitely recommend this property.
