About this house rental
Located in Allegheny River, this lovely house for $264 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to Cody’s Cottage. This newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage is located on the shores of Chautauqua Lake. The Cottage is located in an ideal lakefront location close to everything you will need. With beautiful views, you will be able to enjoy property amenities such as the enclosed lakefront porch, outdoor seating, picnic table and grill, private dock and fire pit. For your use at the cottage you will also find fishing poles, board games, books and magazines for rainy weather or those who prefer to stay in. The cottage is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, Big Tree Ice Cream Parlor, Smith Boys Marina, Lakewood cinema 8, miniature golf, tennis courts, basketball field, playground, and more! You can also take a short (20 minute or less) drive to the historic Bemus Point Area, Chautauqua Institution, Summer Wind Lake Cruises, National Comedy Center, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, Lucille Ball's hometown and burial plot, Southern Tier Brewery, Chautauqua Mall, Laundry, Numerous Chain Restaurants, Wegmans and so much more. The Cottage comes fully equipped with bed linens, towels, basic kitchen appliances and dishes. The three bedrooms are all located on the second floor and consist of a lake view bedroom with a queen size bed, and two smaller bedrooms, one with a full-size bed and one with bunk beds. There is a half bath on the second floor and full bath with shower on the first floor. Please note that we do have off season availability for snowmobilers and ice fisherman, the dock is not available during off season rentals, October to May.

This cottage will not disappoint! Was a clean and well equipped place. Close to everything you if you need to be. We booked this place for a close (Olean, NY) 5 day Vacation. Kids and grandkids came and stayed a night and had a great time, and sister and brother in law stayed 2 nights and fun had by all.
Perfect spot on the lake, nice new dock, ducks and heron’s daily, nice fire pit and the cottage was very well maintained. Would definitely do it again if the occasion arises. Thank you for a satisfactory stay to the Hurlburts and the Cody’s Cottage! Watched a spectacular storm one night over the lake, from the cool enclosed porch, a free light show. Beautiful!

We loved this cottage so much we booked it again! The location is so close to amenties and the owners are the best that we have rented from.
The cottage sits away from the road and very close to the lake. The little inlet beside the cottage is the perfect spot to launch our kayaks and paddleboards. The dock is brand new. When we were there the boat lift wasn't attatched to the dock yet.
There are air conditioning window units but the breeze off the lake kept us plenty cool. There isn't a dishwasher but the kitchen is fully equipt. Coffee lovers, there is a french press, percolator, Keurig and a drip coffee maker! This is a "bring your toothbrush" cottage as the owners thought of everything! We really enjoy our stay here.

The large renovated bathroom was nice to clean up after being out on the lake for the day and enjoying the watercraft’s with family.
The porch out back was nice because those of us that woke up early, you could sit on the porch with the windows open for the breeze and we didn’t wake the others up while catching up and having some coffee.
The firepit outback with the fire wood pile was nice but we didn’t have time to start a fire however the neighbors did and it made for a great ambiance.
Overall, this is a nice cottage and was a great stay with family. Thanks again Kim and Jason for sharing your place!!

We enjoyed are stay very much! The property was clean and right on the lake. We loved the private dock access and being able to sit on the dock to take in the view. It was a short drive away from Southern Tier Brewery which we went to twice during our long weekend stay. A cute ice cream place is also right across the street.
We actually forgot an iPad at the cottage when we left and the host was so accommodating in getting the iPad mailed out to us quickly. We appreciated that so much!

It was a cute house, right on the lake. Cute decor but could use more functional space. Plenty of kitchen supplies, could have used some room for food storage. Host was very nice and quick to replg to any questions. Overall good experience!

From beginning to end my family and I had a great experience! Kim, the owner made me feel comfortable and was extremely friendly to work with. Our stay was incredible due to the view, fishing and cottage. My husband and 5 year old loved it. It was a Christmas present it didn’t disappoint. They were both very happy.

Wonderful Cottage
We really enjoyed our stay. Cottage had all the amenities one could ask for and host was very responsive. Very nice neighbors on either side too. The swimming was perfect for children, not too deep and easy access. Only wish hubby could have netted a musky. It was close, he brought one up to the boat and lost it. Really enjoyed the area.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home! We had a very relaxing stay and especially loved the front enclosed sun porch viewing the lake. We spent most of our time on the porch with our cat, who also enjoyed her stay. Would definitely recommend this location!
