Exceptional

Beautiful, quiet place close to everything with fantastic breakfast. We live in Guatemala City and regularly visit with friends in Antigua who live nearby. A few months ago, we found this hotel by accident as we couldn't find parking for the hotel we had booked originally. Here, everything fits perfectly, we will come again.

Cozy hotel in Antigua.

Nice Spanish courtyard-style, cozy rooms. Good location. Great garden with lots of flowers in the courtyard. Easy nearby parking unless you want to leave car in the street.

No AC and limited windows that only open to courtyard, making difficult to keep them open. When cold, it is good but if warm that could be a problem. No restaurant on site but main hotel (Porta/ Antigua) is only around the corner.

Very comfortable bed and friendly staff made my stay in Antigua a delight.

Great location and friendly staff. The most comfortable bed and clean rooms. There was also a breakfast available and that was a good option.

If I could mention one thing it was not being warned that there would be fireworks at 10pm that night because of the Holy Week celebrations (I think). I had to be up very early and went to bed at 9pm, so it was quite a surprise and it seemed to be coming from a nearby courtyard so it was very loud.

Beautiful environs, good but not great rooms

The hotel is located in a beautiful area and has a beautiful courtyard. The environs are very nice.

The mattress on both of the twin beds in my room were so bad they hurt my back. The lighting in the room was very dim.

It's ok, nothing special

It's a nice hotel close to the city center but not exactly in the very heart of it. You can reach the main square in 10 minutes on foot. Good thing is that the check out is by 13:00 which is a nice extension.

It was tricky to find the entrance as it is on the side street not where google brings you. Room was ok, nothing special, furniture and bathroom are a bit old, hence I believe this hotel is a bit overpriced for what you get.

Great! I'll be back!

All the staff was great, very polite and accommodating. When I needed the newspaper for my mom to read, they said we don't have it here, but can bring it from Porta Hotel. When my bed was bad that I couldn't sleep for 2 nights, they brought a different one from Porta. They also kept my mom's eye drops in the fridge and our luggage at the extra office until we came back from lunch after check out. Thank you! You were all great!!!❤

Great value for your money

The value for money is fantastic. The location is ideal. And the staff are very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. It's not the fanciest, by any means, but it gets the job done; and let's honest, you're not in Antigua to sit in your room all day.

Would definitely book again!

You get what you pay for, we booked a triple room which had two twin beds and a full. We arrived earlier than our check in time but were quickly accommodated. The staff and service was excellent and everyone we talked to was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, we had the cheese and ham omelet with plantains and beans on the side, typical of a Guatemalan breakfast. You have the option of sitting in the garden or the rooftop terrace facing one of the volcanoes, both locations had enough space to follow COVID guidelines. We felt safe the whole time we were there, hand-sanitizing units were available as soon as you came in and around the property and everyone wore their face masks. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we hope to go back in the future.

This hotel was good value for the money. Yet there are more central hotels with similar amenities

Breakfast was not included. A coupon for 10% off a nearby breakfast spot was provided. I did not use this.

The walls were very thin! I could hear everything going on outside of my room as well as a woman singing in the shower in the room next to me late at night while trying to sleep. Not an ideal place if you are doing early tours.
