Our second visit to this lovely property.

setting, dining, innkeeper

The rooms are small and nicely furnished, but the large dresser and the large easy chair took up so much space there’s little room for luggage and brief and computer cases. A small desk instead of one of the chairs would be useful, as would some hooks on the bathroom door and in the closet to hang clothes and pjs

Exceptional.

Despite terrible weather, which made us abandon our planed 18 day trip, our last night at Seawind was great. Located on spit on Tor Bay, it has incredible views. The room was cozy, with views of the water ( our view was grey, but I can imagine it in sunlight). The restaurant was Beyond our expectations. As isolated as it is, we didn’t dream of the gourmet meal we were served.

Restaurant was the best we have had in Nova Scotia. For the breakfast we would wish us Müsli or fruits, but we know, we are in Canada and not in Europe.

Amazing location. The rooms are clean and confortable. The staff is very kind, helpful and professional. We also loved the restaurant, which serves delicious food.

Definitely off the beaten path, but you will love it the moment you srrive!

Lovely property, beautiful room, easy check-in, staff exceptional. Definitely off the beaten path, but so worth it! Dinner was beyond delicious here. Same with breakfast! The views are awesome. Our waitress was a joy.

Seawind Landing is set in a beautiful location with views to die for! I don't think there is a room available that doesn't have an amazing view!

There is no cell service at the location, however, excellent internet and satellite service.

Amazing place by the coast with view on the ocean in very tranquil place. Very good food, three course dinner and delicious breakfast.

With excellent meals and friendly staff, we were extremely pleased with our booking and stay.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent meals. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean.

Our particular room did not have full 8 foot ceiling so we were hitting our heads. But not all rooms were like this.

Beautiful

This was our second time staying here. It was exceptional both times, the meals are outstanding. If you want to go somewhere to unwind and relax with a beautiful atmosphere - this is hard to beat!

We did find out that if we stayed two nights meals would have been included so ended up paying more for one noght than others did for two unfortunately.

Stunning views at an upscale property

This is a stunning location with amazing ocean views. Rooms are quite basic but very comfortable with large bathroom and seating available outside as well as in some great Adirondack chairs facing the water. Dining services were excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Desserts and the blueberry French toast were a great hit!

A notice in every room advising that there must be quiet time by 10:00 pm might remedy the noisy inconsiderate guests we encountered both in the dining room as well as in our room. This was the only off-putting thing on an otherwise fabulous experience.

Very nice

Breakfast and dinner were wonderful, although expensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel like old friends. Room was very comfortable and clean. Views were great.

Worth the Drive

Location and ambience of the property was exceptional. The welcome we received by the owners made us feel liked valued guests. Our meals were great …delicious and wonderfully presented.

Absolutely recommend and will 100% be back!

Lovely spot with a path to a private beach, chairs to enjoy the peninsular view and holy moly - the dinner and breakfast were outstanding! Make sure you make a reservation for dinner! Also, love that it was pet friendly!

There wasn’t much in the area to grab snacks or lunch so make sure you prepare for the trip with food! :)

The view and sunset were amazing! The food was delicious what I had and if you like fish you will enjoy the menu!

The only complaint was very limited menu as it really catered to fish lovers!
