Dieses Hotel ist sowas von zum Weiterempfehlen!!! GENIAL !!!

Die Zimmer, die Lage (Strand und auch das Zentrum), der Pool, das Essen - es war eifach wirklich alles super. Das Security-Personal hat immer geschaut, dass nicht externe Gäste in den Poolbereich kommen... Die Liegen mussten nicht frühmorgens reserviert werden, es hatte immer genügend - ev. mal nicht in der ersten Reihe, aber die zweite Reihe ist auch gut :-)

Das Frühstück ist à la carte. Meine Eltern haben dies zuerst nicht so toll gefunden, aber das Essen war super. Bei einem Buffet findet halt eifach jeder etwas und man kann so viel davon essen, wie man möchte. Wenn man aber z.B. noch mehr Croissants bestellt haben, sind diese natürlich auch einzeln gekommen und nicht wieder die gesamte Palette. Ich finde, trotz à la carte, kann man auch gut seine "Extrawünsche" bestellen.

Exceeded our expectations; best breakfast and dinner setting of any local hotel.

Food was good, service - excellent, just the overall location and set up was terrific. That is the hotel, then the pool, restaurant and lounge areas, then the beautiful Kata Beach and behind you was mini downtown with pretty much everything else you'd want right there :)

You can't change the size of the rooms - yea they seem a tad small, but there isn't much room there so it is what it is.

Nice but in need of a lot of improvements

Pros: • Location on direct beach front can't be beaten. • Staff lovely. Special mention to F&B manager, "Team", and the morning shift waiter, "X". All staff very helpful, considerate and go out of their way to know your names. • Breakfast options limited but nicely served, fresh food and well portioned except for the pancakes which are far too small. • We stayed in room 301A which is one of the best rooms and is nicely decorated (albeit a quite dated) but certainly not worth the price we paid. At least the bathroom felt relatively new. • Beautiful view to one of the best beaches in Phuket. • Great location near food and knick-knack markets. Everything is within walking distance. • Great sunsets from hotel. • Hotel has 39 rooms making it a little smaller than some other places which minimised the number of Russians staying there which was a positive.

Cons: • The sea outside resort has a lot of rubbish. The hotel should really put out nets to catch rubbish to clean up water. The rubbish also litters the beach which isn't nice either. • The top edge of the pool has a rim of green algae growing on it. It appears they rarely clean pool which is pretty gross. It certainly put me off using it and instead I swam amongst the rubbish in the sea. • The pool is far too small and is almost tokenistic. • Hotel is 40 yrs old and it shows. Lots of rust, tiles missing, function areas completely dilapidated and not used. It's in need of major renovations. For the amount they charge I'd have thought they could do a full refurbishment. • Pool Boys vary greatly with some being very attentive while others ignoring patrons all together. Not a great way to drum up business! • Gym is VERY basic and most equipment is rusted and in dire need of replacement. Again, this needs a full overhaul and to move to a better location with a view rather than being in a half sunken bunker. • No water sports provided with hotel which is disappointing. Hiring of equipment must be undertaken through other providers. • Nice bath provided in room but no bubble bath liquid.

A fabulous 4 night experience which would have been nice to extend.

Efficiency and “can do” attitude of the staff- everything was a pleasure. Location,cleanliness and themed elements throughout the hotel.

Great views

The location was the crowning glory as the hotel is a few footsteps from the beach. We were however expecting a very much quieter and more secluded spot. The area is very busy, so if you're after a bustling area with heaps of tourists and many many choices of outside restaurants then this will be perfect.

Unfortunately due to no fault of the hotel the beach is very polluted, however seeing as this is the hotel's best asset one would have thought they would employ staff to do daily clean ups of the beach in front, it really would go a long way to helping the situation. I was a little disappointed with our room (suite with ocean view) as it was very dark, one half of the drapes could not be opened at all so half a window of natural light meant lights had to be on at any time during the day. Also the carpet surrounding the bed needs a good steam clean. Overall our stay was pleasant enough, although the hotel does need a refresh (one of the disadvantages of being on the ocean) but certainly Kata Beach is not an area we will return to.

Wonderful stay, small hotel with top-notch restaurant

The hotel is on the south side of Kata Beach - a good location on a beautiful beach with beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the pool right on the beach and spent great evenings there. What stands out in this hotel is the restaurant and staff. The restaurant is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner - truly top notch, seating next to the beach. The staff are friendly and accommodating and try their best for guests to have a good experience. It's a small hotel so they know guests personally. We recommend this hotel, especially for couples.

Not cheap, BUT you get what you pay for 5 stars

Amazing hotel, located in a beautiful beachfront area. Clean, clear water, a great little 2-foot surf break and surfboard rental on the beach. Rooms are amazing, clean, comfortable, and room service is super-fast. Staff are wonderful, you get a 12.00 check out and we were offered a room to shower and freshen up for our 10.00pm flight.

Its a little out of the way from the centre of Kata town if you want more choice of restaurants and shopping. 100 BHT in a cab will get you there or walk along the beach.

Family oriented place and good food + breakfast

Good vide overall , we booked beachfront suite though we had to spend one day in the upper suite which didn't have direct beach access but they moved us on the ground floor (calling it an upgrade) on the second day.

Beautiful location, beach front. The rooms were very clean and nicely designed. The beds were comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the sea. the staff were excellent. always friendly and helpful. Pond at Boathouse was exceptionally helpful and her customer service was wonderful. The breakfast was lovely too. the hotel is close to shops and other restaurants which is great

Unbeatable location on Kata beach, modern and spacious rooms, great attention to detail, delicious food and exceptional staff. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff and the service here are truly next level, we’ll definitely come back

Superb

The stunning Seaview and stone throw away distant from the beach. Excellent services and front desk staffs is very helpful.

I prefer international buffet breakfast but is currently a la carte.

Superb hotel & staff - 100% recommend

This is an idyllic hotel and the staff are exceptional. They were so helpful throughout my visit, including a late check-out which I really appreciated. The food is delicious and the view from the restaurant is beautiful, overlooking the beach. From the welcome cocktail upon arrival to my lovely room, this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had.
