The hotel is excellent. It's at a very convenient location.
Just outside the hotel there is massage place, hair salon, restaurant, 7-eleven, money changer.
The beach is just across the road.
And within 2 mins, there is an excellent local food court which I had been everyday during my stay.
I love that the hotel provided beach mat which I brought along with me when I went out to day tour island hopping.
The room is very spacious, bed is comfortable.
The area feel safe and lots of families with kids.
The pool area was small but not a problem because the beach is just across the road.

Super close to kata beach, where you could easily surf, swim a read a book.
Room is clean, spacious, with a nice balcony.

Beach was walking distance....airport 70 minutes away.....airport pick up time was not reported correctly....didnt get to hotel til 11.30 p.m. arrived 9.30 p.m. Access to gym equipment was not explained.
All night loud thumping noise from above my room til early hours!!!
Breakfast was NOT included as reported on advertivsing.
Sugar Marina Fashion and Booking.com need to get there act together.
Some parts of room and complex are shabby.
