Relaxing oasis

A good variety of international and local food options. The 2 bed villa had a double and twin room both ensuite with additional outdoor bath/ shower facilities . The room service menu was good value and wide choices for when restaurants were too much faff! The villa pool was kept cleaned daily.

Some evening’s restaurant facilities were taken over by corporate clients, held special menu options not suitable for all which meant the onsite dining experience became rather limited. The hotel is located in a secure area with a few other hotels/ private residence accommodation- as such you are pretty isolated from any other local facilities so if you like being out and about on foot this is not easy to do from here. The gym facilities are poor for a hotel of this quality- adequate- equipment is limited and a little old.

Enjoyable but frustrating. Staff seem to try hard but aren’t very efficient. They supply toiletries in a bag then charge

Beautiful spacious villa

Only 1 electric point in main bedroom Very little hanging space in master bedroom closet. Wasted space such as sofa in the bathroom

Very relaxing and the views of the lagoon were amazing

The best thing about Ban Yan Tree is the staff they are all very helpful and always ready to address your needs

The on line information about activities and services could be improved it was not clear what classes were available and if individual classes could be offered and the cost. Also the Veya option is not well explained on line. During check in would be a good opportunity to explain facilities and services and activities available .

Amazing resort in a quiet location, away from everything else.

The resort was beautiful, well maintained, service and staff were outstanding, we were well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Thank you so much, we will be back.

"I recently stayed at this resort and had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the amenities were top-notch. Although I didn't take advantage of all the activities the resort had to offer, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was perfect and offered a wide range of options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The resort itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. While I didn't have time to try out all the activities offered by the resort, I hope to do so on my next visit. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

Not as good as my 1st stay pre-Covid. The rooms/equipment are tired and need upgraded.

Butlers were good. Privacy of villa good. Watercourt and Thai restaurant good, Tre should be re-thought.Generally restaurant staff excellent.

Breakfast both in room and at Tre restaurant very poor. Air conditioning/lighting need an overhaul. Grass and hedges of villa overgrown although a gardener type came daily. 2nd pool a waste of space not even knee deep.

Good but not great

Private villa with pool

We did not recieve the cushions to our sunbeds in our villa even though they promised they would bring them to us. And the bicycles were constantly taken away or stolen from our neighbours. The bicycles are old and rusty. And in addition to that, there was a cockroach in our room. Beach was dirty and there was no sunbeds or shades. You get only towels. Would be nice if at the breakfast the labels would include if the food has lactose or gluten etc.. Quite far away from the village where is the shops and more restaurants.
