A bit disappointing - don't look like the photos

The staff, especially the porters, were very kind! Breakfast was good with loads of options. Pool area is nice. We were afraid of a macaque that was outside of our room and even in our balcony one day, however I'd say it was the high point of this hotel. It was really nice to watch the monkeys in their environment! But if staying there always keep doors and windows closed.

We had really high expectations about this hotel as it is a resort in front of the beach and it promised to be really nice. However it actually looks very old and lacks maintenance and cleaning. Some areas even look abandoned. I believe it was a really nice place when it was launched but it hasn't been cared of properly. Our bath was clogged and with many stains.. Honestly we didn't have courage to take a relaxing bath. The beach is also not great, we didn't enjoy it as it had hundreds of jellyfish.

Just go if you have no option

Location was good enough

I’m glad we just stayed three days and all of them were outside the hotel. The bathroom is old and has mold. Water from the shower is always on the floor. There was hair in the drain from previous customers. The safe was broken and we needed to ask for the key.

Like something from a zombie film

It was cheap

It was very rundown, like something from an apocalypse movie. The place smelt bad, the pool and garden wasn’t looked after. The staff weren’t helpful at all and also not very friendly. It’s fine for the price it was but not worth it if you’re looking for a nice experience.

One night stay at Krabi Resort but it was good

1. There were two pools, which was good. 2. Easy access to Ao Nang Beach, which was good. Unfortunately there was a red flag due to the weather and we could not swim in the sea. 3. Generous breakfast, with a wide spread and halal food. 4. We got an upgrade to our room and it came with a nice bath tub. 5. The shops and nightlife outside the hotel were good.

1. The hotel compound was huge and we needed to do a lot of walking. Luckily there was a buggy service though hours were limited from 8a.m. to 10p.m. 2. There was no iron in the room.

Beautiful place in the heart of Krabi

the receptionists were very sweet and kind they upgraded our room for the entire duration of the stay and were always quick to address our concerns. Overall the hotel is good and has its own private beach and is located in Ao nang beach right near all the restaurants and shops and beach. It is at the heart of Krabi and their breakfast buffet is good as well. It has the potential to be a five-star hotel with a little bit of infrastructural improvement. Wifi was not available but it seems that is a problem in most hotels in Krabi. It has lot of natural wildlife (ponds with fishes and variety of flora) within the hotel premises which makes it an idyllic location for having a scenic vacation. The housekeeping staff were very kind as well.

Some facilities are not well maintained like there was plumbing issue in our bathroom, electricity issues and wifi did not work but the receptionists were prompt and efficient and solved our problems quickly so overall it is worth staying there if you are staying in a beachfront villa with private pool or pool view luxury grand rooms. (the other rooms may not have as good scenic views)

Great location. Great value for money. Good facilities on site..

Poor Internet, connection Wi-Fi, constantly going down in the room, Pool cleanliness was poor, missing tiles around the pool,rubbish all round the pool for days at a time no one seem to bother cleaning it up. The whole place just needs a good bit of TLC the beds around the pool, we’re ripped and tatty Shuffle to airport and back very expensive, in comparison to local taxis.

will never return and I suggest you don’t go in the first place

not a lot. it was a completely wreck. run down, rude disinterested staff, unsafe, rooms were cleaned well pool (water) seems clean but surroundings were dirty and dangerous

sadly the whole place was run down, broken, worn out, the staff were rude, grumpy and disinterested in doing their job and engaging with customers. pool areas were dirty and broken, so dangerous for our kids. such a shame because you could see it was amazing once upon a time

Very good

The location was first rate, on the beach and next to town. Both pools were good. Food was great. Comfortable room with balcony.

The only comment I can make is the whole site is dated. It could do with a refurbishment. But overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Great beachfront property

The resort is right on the beach. The room was comfortable. Decent breakfast with some variety (mostly Thai dishes). Overall, as a beachfront property, it is a great value for the money!

One complaint is the late cleaning of the room (usually after 3pm). The resort is also in need of renovation/refurbishment, as some room features were outdated and areas of the grounds seemed a bit rundown.

WE HAVE TRAVELLED THE WORLD AND THIS IS ONE OF OUR BEST VACATIONS. WE GO BACK IN FEBRUARY 2024

EVERYTHING WAS BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. PERFECT BEACH WITH WONDERFUL SUNSETS. GREAT UFFET / SELF SERVICE BREAKFAST WITH MANY OPTIONS. PEACEFUL / RELAXING ROOM WITH HUGE SUNKEN BATH.

The location - I really wanted to have the beach at a hand lenght - and I got it :) I really came just for the see, so I didn’t care about the garden and other stuff. So I was very happy with Krabi Resort :)

Good location. Friendly housekeeping staff.

Front desk staff rude and unfriendly. Strictly business. At breakfast there are only 2 little coffee machines for the throngs of guests who descend on that place. Never enough coffee.

Nothing !

Every thing could of been better ! The room was dark and not like on the internet photos. Paint is peeling on balcony. Not even a shade for sun. No privacy. All night light switched on and off was not possible to sleep. No one come to fix it even so asked and they said some one coming to fix electrical fault. Beach was dirty and no service from staff for mattress or towels... Really a 3 star resort. We stayed one night and moved to Grand Centara resort. Hope to get my refund as they wanted pre payment as checked in...

We had a noisy, and running animal (bigger squirrell or rat)in the roof, so we couldn't sleep that well. Except this the hotel was perfect.

Nice stay, but would not stay again.

The room was beautiful and the location to the beach was great. Breakfast was great.

It did not cater to younger audiences. it was very much a resort for old people. The lunch restaurant food was very bland. We were the only people there, not surprised after tasting the food.

Very nice location right in the meddle of Ao Nang with private beach.

Outdated to some extent, mini-golf and children’s club has probably not been open in many years and looked not nice at all. The personnel in the lobby don’t know how to smile (which is very strange for Thailand) They have a private beach but cover by falling leaf, why not have someone clean the beach every morning? So all in all way too much money for this property in Thailand, it’s a pity could have been so good with a management that actually cared.

best hotel in the area with beachfront

we had a beachfront villa, excellent location and spacious

there was no atmosphere around the resort, no one used any if the bars, maybe a little entertainment would keep people there breakfast was very busy but always tables available however you constantly had to ask for everything to be refilled every morning, never any glasses, yoghurt, pastries and the queue for the ridiculously slow coffee machine was terrible

Good experience but hotel require more attention

Great resort with two pools. Next to beach. Good breakfast. Amazing bungalows with huge rooms and huuge bathrooms with showers and Bathtub. Close to city and night market. Very calm and silent place where you can rest and relax. Amazing amount of green areas with palms and tons of other flower's - which make you feel like staying in the jungle . Towels and bath accessories replacement every day.

No sun umbrellas on swimming pool. No cleaning personel on common area. Overall impression was that resort was a little bit dusty and rusty post covid time. Not enough stuff to cleanup whole area. There was cockroach 🪳🪳🪳 in the second room. Whole room was dusty. Aircon was very noisy and only high mode was working. Electric sockets were not working. Not enough sunbeds on beach. If you want to lay down on the beach you need to wake up in the morning on sunrise and securing two.

Fabulous value in a wonderful location !

The beachside location of the hotel is great. It's also very very close to the main "strip" for bars and restaurants and, although that road is busy, the hotel is an oasis of peace !

The room had a few little issues with being a bit tired but it's such value for money, this is NOT a complaint, just a minor point

Our stay was very pleasant, I can only recommend the hotel.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. The nature, the beach and the town is only a few steps away. The staff is very kind, friendly and always ready to help. For breakfast you have a big variety of delicious food to choose from. Our room was comfortable and clean all the time.

The furniture in the room was a little worn out (bathroom included), it could use a renovation.

What a lovely location and dinner at the beachfront listening to the ocean was so relaxing. Staff were great and attentive.

I realize that Thailand has only just re-opened fully to tourists, but the maintenance on this hotel is not good. The bath plug was almost rusted through, the gardens need tidying up. the photos of the rooms on Booking.com make the hotel and rooms look far nicer than they are. However, the location is amazing, just lower your expectations for the rooms.

Stay away

Thailand is well known for having an amazing service. Staff, specially those working at the front desk, put their efforts to delete that image. Also, bathub was broken and the bathroom flooded.

The resort is good, the villa excellent, well designed with a great feeling of quality.

Breakfast was average, a good selection but all “hot” food was Luke warm except the freshly cooked omelettes. The room was excellent.
