Not really worth the price

The location

The double bedroom I had was very dark and humid. Nothing like the pictures. The neighbours I had were very noisy and you could hear the noise from the other rooms upstairs

Terrible experience. The cold made my kids sick and ruined our next trip.

Location

The facilities are poor and not even worthy of one star. The floor in the room was tiled, the mattress was hard, and the quilt and pillows were thin and damp. The gap between the door and the corridor is large, and you can clearly see the lights and hear the sounds outside. The air conditioner in the room is just a decoration. Guests cannot set the temperature by themselves. The hotel uses central air conditioning. In order to save money, they did not turn on the heating. We checked in early in the midnight and did not want to trouble the staff. We endured it all night and went early to the front desk the next morning and asked for a heater. The front desk first said that it was not cold and there was no need to turn on the heating. Then the front desk said that there were only 3 heaters in the entire hotel. Although we had 3 rooms, they could only give us 2 at most. When I returned to the room in the evening, I found that there was no heater. The person at the front desk changed and she said she didn't know about it and that there was no heater. After I argued hard, she brought one to me. They didn't have any extra quilts too. One of my kids got cold that night. The hygiene of the restaurant is also very poor. The waiters will wipe the dirty things on the table directly to the floor. The ground is sticky

مريحة هادئة الاستقبال رائعون سرعة تنظيف الغرف أيضاً لافتة والابتسامة دوماً على محيا طاقم الفندق

نعم استمعت والمكان جداً جيد والنظافة وسرعة تبديل الأطباق عند الانتهاء من نوع معين من الطعام لافتة جدا

الافطار نوعاً ما فقير بالتنوع الأساسي المطلوب يعني الملاحظ انني خلال أربعة أيام من الافطار لا يوجد عسل مطلقاً !!!

Not the best, Not Terrible

Positive Reception, Location, and Room: I was pleased with the friendly reception staff, the great location, and the spacious room with a large, beautiful bathroom.

AC and Noise Issues: The air conditioning was terrible, frequently turning off. The view was disappointing, discouraging even opening the shades. Additionally, my room had a connecting door, and I could hear every word from the neighboring guests, which made for an uncomfortable stay.

the place was perfect especially the terrace. the staff were helpful and friendly, they fully cooperated with me to find my wallet and manage to get in contact with the person who found it. i really appreciate this.

Passable, but in our oppinion too expensive for the price that we paid.

A variety of options for breakfast, daily clean towels and clean sheats.

Our room was situated in the first floor, facing the hotel air conditioning in the back atrium. The first thing that striked us as odd was that we had to pay the full final price before even having a look at the room, but having travelled all day we agreed, which looking back doesn't seem like a good idea. One half of the window was broken, hence it did not close appropriately; when we asked the receptionist if she could give us another room, it was said that they did not have it, but that the next morning the superintendant would come and take care of it, which sadly did not happen. The room was poorly lit and the noise from the air conditioning was heard through the entire night. The furniture was in bad shape and some essentials were missing (toilet brush, tea kettle). The last thing that I would point out is the 'to-go breakfast'; I am aware that checking out of the hotel at 4 am leaves very little option to what could be included in the breakfast, especially as the kitchen wasn't even open, but we mentioned our wish the first day of our stay, when we were told that not only was a picnic breakfast' possible, but that we could also choose what to eat; nevertheless we were provided with some food 5 minutes before leaving by a kind receptionist.

Location great, but hotel old, not a four star

Great location.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star, we were really disappointed. The hotel is old, our room smelt, the air conditioning was leaking water all down the wall, the interior of the room and halls are poor, its not at all how the photos were on Booking.com

the location of the hotel. It was very accessible to all the places I needed to go and made my stay very convenient. The room itself was also quite good. It was clean and comfortable, and I had no issues with the amenities provided.

Very nice hotel to use as a base for sightseeing in Barcelona. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The location was excellent and it was easy to navigate the city. The breakfast was fantastic. the room had a bidet.

It was older and the bathrooms needed a renovation.

Great location, comfortable room, thin room walls.

Great location, rooms are nice and fairly modern. The beds were comfortable and linen/towels were fresh.

Something that I was not aware of is that the walls are extremely thin, and not sound proof at all. I could here the neighbour’s every cough, sneeze and movement in the next room. Have to admit it did keep us awake at night.

Average hotel but with an amazing location.

I think what makes this hotel outstanding is the location. Being only a few steps from Passeig de Gracia, La Rambla and Plaza de Catalunya make this hotel worth it as it gives you access to either the most touristy spots or transportation to them. Besides the location, it's a very average hotel.

There's nothing I actively disliked. It's just a very average hotel, don't expect modern furniture or a fancy looking restaurant/lobby. It's just average, you're paying for the location which is worth it.
