Built in 1899, this adorned and lovingly restored home offers the best of both worlds; Charming Historic details, such as original wood floors, ornate crown molding, while featuring modern, comfortable furnishings and finishes. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, everyone is welcome at Savannah Escape, including your sweet pups! Once you park your vehicle in one of the multiple private, off-street parking spaces, you'll enter via an electronic lock into your sweet home away from home to begin your vacation. The first level is made for entertaining, which consists of the main gathering space, formal dining room, the completely remodeled kitchen, and a full-size bathroom. Boasting with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, the gathering room offers an ample amount of plush, comfortable seating for everyone. The formal dining room conjoins, but can be closed off with a set of ornate, historic pocket doors, if you're looking for a more intimate dinner. Easy for serving, the kitchen is just at the back of the home and is truly equipped with all essentials needed to prepare home-cooked meals, cocktails, and so much more! You'll find all three bedrooms on the second level, where no detail has been spared. Two of the bedrooms offer King size beds, with plenty of space to store your personal belongings, and smart televisions. The quaint, yet charming third bedroom offers a Queen size bed. The luxurious full bathroom at the front of the home is the perfect place to reset by taking a hot, steamy shower, in the large walk-in shower. Out back, your TRUE oasis awaits! A rarity here in Savannah, this large backyard is the perfect space to let your pups, children, or even adults play. At dusk, play a game of cornhole under the magical cafe lights, or join together on the back screened porch for an evening round of drinks. You'll never want to leave this Savannah Escape, but when you do decide to venture out, you'll be a short walk from amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and Forsyth Park! Sleeping Configuration: Bedroom 1: King Bed Bedroom 2: King Bed Bedroom 3: Queen Bed Living Room: Full Sleeper Sofa What is parking like for this home? Private Parking: There is an ample amount of off-street, private parking, next to the home where guests can park side-by-side and tandem. We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

This was a beautiful house to stay in for our vacation to Savannah. It is very easy to get there and there is a dedicated parking spot next to the house that can definitely fit more than one car if need be. The backyard is enclosed which is nice, especially if you have young kids. The porch is screened in so we never had any issue with bugs. The house itself is beautiful with all of the amenities that you need. Beds were very comfortable, everyone slept well. Everything was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home in Savannah was very well maintained and had everything we needed for a 4-day stay with our dogs! They had home ready when we arrived, clean, good bedding and bathroom towels and guest supplies. The bedrooms are all upstairs with a full shower stall bathroom upstairs and another full bathroom downstairs with large dining room and living room and everything needed in the kitchen. The location does require a car/Uber to the central market district, we used Uber often and always arrived within a few minutes. Would recommend the home to anyone looking for the amount of room for a stay.

The home was nicely decorated but it could use a little TLC. First issue if you want a quiet stay this is not the house for you. It is on a very busy road with traffic noise until 4 am. I had to go buy ear plugs in order to sleep. It is a little farther from Savannah sites than were described and more outside of the victorian district where the neighbor is slightly outside of where I would have like to stay. Parking was great but all the closet are locked with not much room for you own stuff. Honestly if you picked up the house and moved it several blocks over I would likely stay there again.

A group of 7 of us stayed at this rental property for my bachelorette trip and it was definitely worth it! Arriving to the house can be a little sketchy but we were also arriving late in the night. The neighborhood wasn’t bad during the daytime and our immediate area was great so we felt safe. Being so close to downtown Savannah was so convenient and we were able to do plenty of activities throughout the area. Check-in and check-out processes are simple and easy to follow. The lucky Savannah team was quick to respond and I highly recommend if you want to stay close to the downtown area!

We stayed here with our adult children and grandchild when our other daughter had our second grandchild. The home is beautiful. The road outside is a busy one, but inside is really comfortable and has been renovated from top to bottom. The sofa is very comfortable, as are the mattresses (for me that’s the most important part!) The area is a bit transitional with many newly renovated homes and some that are still in need of some tlc. I loved being able to bring our dogs, and the loved the large back yard that’s completely fenced in. We will be back!

Savannah shifts south of the park. While this was walkable into the historic district the neighborhood left a little to be desired. The house was nice and clean inside but we did find a mouse at one point. The rear door prop to keep out intruders was also a surprise. I'm not sure if this was just precaution or if the neighborhood was actually unsafe. Overall, if I was going to come back to Savannah I would stay North or West of Forsyth parth.

Very beautiful home located close to everything. Nice back yard to sit and relax. Nice furnished back porch for sitting and talking. Beds were comfortable. We did have to contact the property manager for a couple of small issues that they took care of immediately. The only real issue we had was the front door is locked with a key from the inside, meaning you can't enter or exit through that door. It's concerning because of the rare case of a fire, it's one less exit to escape from. With that said, I would still stay here again and will the next time we are in Savannah.

Loved the fenced in back yard for our dog, great location in the Victorian District, walkable to Historic District and Starland. Many great restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks. Loved the renovated historic house. Would definitely stay here again. We will look for Lucky Savannah properties on our next trip to Sav. Thanks!
