Tolle Unterkunft mit aussergewöhnlichem Frühstück

Klasse Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf das Meer. Es gab jeden morgen ein besonderes Frühstück. Dafür wurden auch jeden Tag extra Krabben gefischt. Die Eigentümer des B&B waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Man konnte kostenlos Kajaks ausleihen. Auf der anderen Seite des Ufers konnte man mit Fernglas Bären beobachten.

The Inn on Stephens Bay was exceptional. Michelle and Stephen were wonderful hosts. The view and surrounds are unbelievable and we couldn’t have asked for more. Michelle was understanding of our early start and did everything possible to make our stay memorable… and it was.

There was nothing that could be improved upon.

Absolutely amazing!

Breakfast was amazing - better than a 5 star hotel! The location is idyllic, right on the water with stunning views with the chance of seeing humpback whales passing through. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very clean.Michelle & Stephen were great hosts.

A beautiful romantic getaway with charming hosts

Charming romantic remote location with a beautiful view of the water.

It would have been nice to turn off the outdoor lighting to enjoy the dark sky. No A/C, so the upstairs bedroom was a bit warm.

Excellent service and gourmet breakfast. Fantastic view right on the ocean. The hosts even surprised us with dessert on the evening we checked in. We wished we could have stayed longer, which would have given us time to use the kayaks provided.

A bit out of the way, no restaurants nearby, but the isolation is also part of its charm

A delightful place to stay and exceptional breakfasts!

The view from our room was breathtaking, and we saw a pair of dolphins swim by on our first evening! The 3-course breakfasts were delicious! Michelle and Stephen are friendly and gracious hosts.

The bed was only a double (I prefer a King or at least a Queen sized bed). Also, the bathroom was on the small side (the other suites didn't have this drawback). Finally, no on-site EV charging.

One of the best places I have ever stayed!

The location, the views, the rooms are beautiful, food excellent and Michelle treats people like a house guest. We were genuinely sorry to be leaving.

Nothing, I really mean that. It is in rural North Island, if that's what you like you will love it. If you don't like staying in tranquil places, however beautiful, it may not suit you.

Just Go! You Will Be Glad You Did

The most beautiful view of the bay you can imagine with direct access in the back of the B&B on the property. You can borrow kayaks if you want. One of the owners is a 5-star chef, and breakfast was amazing. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom with amenities and plenty of towels as needed. Hosts are awesome and kind.

There area no negatives to this Inn.

This is the Only thing we can really nitpick on.. we had an Amazing bath with amazing view, but the balcony of unit next door has clear view into our bathroom so we had to close curtains and miss out on view when there were people on the balcony next door. That’s the only downside to an otherwise perfect experience

How lucky we were to find such a wonderful place. We

A lovely property in a stunning location. Excellent wildlife viewing (sea otters and seals) and birding (great northern divers, red throated grebes, blue herons and pine serins). Steve’s wonderful breakfasts with crabs and shrimps from the inlet. Michelle’s care and attention to her guests’ comfort.

One of the best reasons to visit Vancouver Island North

After numerous trips to Vancouver Island, it was time to head up north and see what treasures lay buried under the road less travelled. There was nothing better than The Inn on Stephens Bay. From the moment we arrived, we knew we could relax and take in the nature that surrounded us. While the view from the balcony (on which we ate our dinner every night) was delightful, the ability to experience the bay first hand thanks to the free use of the kayaks (and plenty of PFDs) was simply awesome. Kayaking along the calm waters disturbed only by the seals was an experience we'll never forget. But the true memory of our visit came in the mornings as we were treated to a gourmet breakfast thanks to the amazing chef who also happens to be one of the owners. Overall, our stay was too short but will be long lasting. Thank you!!!

Experience the pleasure of nature outdoors and within

Service, location (off the beaten path and natural beauty of the area). Clean, very comfortable and the breakfast was 5 star - chef prepared in house. They also offered to accommodate my Celiac-based dietary restraints and the outcome presented a breakfast that married the edible plants and herbs from the property with fresh local products. The breakfast mirrored that found in high end spas. The hosts were pleasant, professional and our experience reminded us of the high quality service and accommodations we have experienced in Switzerland, Asia and Austria. The Inn should be on the bucket list for those with discerning tastes and a penchant for natural beauty.

Exceptional Accommudation

The hospitality of the host Michelle was outstanding. We arrived at 1:00 am and she was wide awake, waiting for us and giving directions how to reach to the property, took us to the room and made us feel secure & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, top of the world. We have been to many part of the world and stayed at many 5 star hotels. But the breakfast served at the Inn on Stephens Bay better than the 5 star hotels. It was healthy, just melts down in the mouth. The lawn and outside of the property is well maintained.
