About this chalet rental
Nestled in Big Bear, this lovely chalet for $666 per night is a great option for your next trip. This superb log style lakefront was designed with comfort in mind for guests of all ages. We have plenty of amenities that will make your next trip to Big Bear a memorable one. There are high vaulted ceilings and log accents throughout. Several large windows allow the great room to be filled with plenty of natural light and offer a breathtaking view of outdoors. From here you can access the back deck, BBQ and picnic table. The entrance level also has a master bedroom with a full bathroom, shuffle board, laundry room, and another full bathroom off the living room for added convenience. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs along with the pool table, a foosball table, and a work desk. There are a variety kids books available and the loft is a great lounging spot for children. There is a flat screen TV in every bedroom. The TV's are Netflix/Hulu ready. We have Apple TV available which puts a vast library of movies and music at your disposal. This luxury chalet sits in one of Big Bear's most high demand neighborhoods: Eagle Point States. This centralized area is walking distance to Meadow Park, the swim beach, restaurants and convenience stores. It's less than 2 miles from skiing and snowboarding, and downtown Big Bear (the Village). This beautiful neighborhood is perfect for walks and casual biking trips. Book your next getaway today! NOTE: There's no boat dock available and no access to the water. Our guests can launch or temporarily park their boats at one of the local marinas. The Big Bear Marina is the closest one and it's less than 2 miles away. ====]> ** Must be 25 in order to book. ** Maximum number of guests allowed is 10 adults & 6 children. ** We have parking for a maximum of 4 cars. Garage is not available. **There's no boat dock available and no access to the water/lake. ** Maximum occupancy includes children above the age of 2. ** A signed rental agreement, Good Neighbor Guide, ID and credit card verification are required for each reservation. Q: What time is check-in and check-out? A: Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. During the Christmas and New Year holiday period (Dec 18-Jan 3), check-in is at 4pm due to high demand. Q: Can I bring more than the maximum number of guests specified on the listing? A: No. The maximum occupancy allowed for this home is 10 adults and 6 children. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay. Q: Can I bring more than 4 cars? A: No. The maximum number of vehicles allowed is 4. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay. Q: Are linens and towels provided? A: Yes. Linens and towels are provided enough for 16 guests. Q: Does the home have Air Conditioning? A: No. The home does not have Air Conditioning. Q: Is there a hot tub? A: Hot tub might be available for your stay. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Hot tub must remain covered while not in use. Q: Do I need chains? Will there be snow during my stay? A: Always carry chains in your vehicle if your trip falls between November and April. Our guests can check weather and road conditions in real time by clicking on the links in their confirmation email. We can’t accurately predict when there will be snow. Q: Is the garage available? A: The garage is not available for use. Q: Is the firewood provided? A: The fireplaces are for decorative purposes only and not available for use. Q: Do you provide propane for the BBQ? A: The BBQ is connected to the natural gas. It’s ready to be used on-demand without the need of a tank. Q: Do I need to take my trash at the end of the stay? A: Yes. In accordance to City Ordinance all guests must take the trash to a disposal site at the end of the stay. Trash bags and directions to the disposal site are available at the cabin.

Checking in was easy and communication with the management prompt and courteous. The shuffleboard and pool tables were a big hit with the kids and the master bedroom and bathroom were luxurious.
My only negatives concern cleanliness and the outdoor area. It advertised deep cleaning which was important to me but it was dusty and there were chip crumbs by the sofa. The bathrooms however were super clean and it could be the house just was empty for awhile. The deck furniture was limited considering the number of people the house can hold and that and the picnic table area were not the quality and style of the rest of the house. For the price of this rental and the attraction of those wonderful views I’d consider updating the outside seating.
I still give this home a five star rating however because overall it was fantastic and we were sorry to see our time there end!

It is well maintained and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The kids loved their room that doubled as a gaming room with huge TV and video games. Lots of entertainment with shuffle board, pool table and foosball too. Management was also very responsive to our questions prior to renting and when we had a question about check in. The only thing that we would put on the wish list for the house would be to have another bathroom / shower upstairs since there are three bedrooms. There was, however, a shower in the common bathroom downstairs so that didn’t really pose a problem. I would definitely rent this place again on our next trip.
Note there is no direct access to the lake from the house, but that worked out well for us because we had two young kids with us.

We booked this cabin for Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. The pictures of the cabin are nice but don’t do it justice. The cabin is very well stocked with more than we could have imagined. We will definitely stay here again.

We rented the property specifically because of the hot tub feature which did not work when we arrived. No attempt to resolve during our trip.
