Really well sized and modern room for the price, and extremely comfortable beds. Very grateful for the clothes washing pods which we used. We were mindful of the reviews calling the location inconvenient, but having come from Osaka, we appreciated the peace and quiet! There was also a bus round the corner as an alternative for the 25min walk from the station.
Additional coffee sachets would've been appreciated as we only had one each for two nights, and there didn't appear to be any in reception.

Quiet, safe and a great location
There was a musty smell, possibly from the washer) that was obvious our whole stay. On the last day it smelled like urine as well.

The property is out of the center of Kyoto but once we familiarized ourselves with the bus routes, we had no trouble getting to/from the hotel. The room was a good size & the kitchenette & washing machine were much appreciated bonuses. It is also close to the Nishi Hongan-Ji Temple.

The room was spartan and while surface level was clean, it was dusty in the corners which put me on edge.
