I was pleasantly greeted by a real human being at reception rather than a self-service console - which is unusual these days in budget hotels. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very quiet, just the right temperature and a good size. The shower room was modern, clean and functional. The hot water was plentiful.
The breakfast was disappointing and expensive for what it was. The coffee tasted good and there were cereal and yoghurts but the cheese and charcuterie looked a bit dry and unappealing. The cooked breakfast was greasy bacon and overdone scrambled eggs.
