We would definitely stay again.

Everything we needed for a stay in a great location for us ( close to our friends home). Owners very friendly and understood when our plans changed. SUPER breakfast.

Extremely comfortable and friendly base from which to explore this fascinating island

Very friendly, welcoming hosts. Spacious room with excellent bathroom. Good location on a quiet square tucked in just behind the promenade, with a couple of very good local restaurants.

I am struggling to come up with anything. Wifi bandwidth was a bit limited (very first world problem).

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect little break that felt like you were staying with family!

Lou and Dan were wonderful hosts. Loved breakfast with Lou and having a natter. She reads the room well though and if you aren’t a morning person, that’s ok too! Delicious start to the day, nothing too much trouble. The room was super comfortable and the toiletries and fresh, fluffy towels and linens all smelt and felt amazing! Location was perfect too, a lovely stroll down to the centre.

It was a short visit, but we enjoyed it totally.

A well prepared cooked breakfast and the chats with Lou, as well as all friendly members of her family. We experienced a peaceful and quiet environment.

A most pleasant stay

Nice quiet central location opposite public gardens. We stayed in the larger bedroom which was very spacious with large step in shower and Victorian style bath and view of the public gardens. The room had a large TV with Sky facility and free Wi-Fi. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Plenty of wardrobe space if needed. Cooked breakfast was available with local Kippers as an option which I really enjoyed. There are only 2 guest rooms in this B and B so the shared dining table is a delightful way to meet your fellow guests whilst being looked after by your host Lou who will go the extra mile to meet your needs. This is a family home as well as a business and it was a delight to meet Lou’s husband Dan, her children and their cat Izzy. There are some great restaurants close by including Flavours Indian restaurant and Titan Restaurant both of which I highly recommend. There is limited ( 2 hours disc zone) on street parking ( Mon - Fri ) 8am - 6pm and Lou will give you a disc and help you manage your parking needs.

Booking.com advertises this accommodation as having a private bathroom whereas there is not a toilet in the room. Our toilet was a short walk away across the landing and down a few stairs and adjacent to the separate bathroom for use with the other guest room at the rear. Robes are provided for your convenience however visiting the WC during the night was a bit of a nuisance and worse for my wife who had a slight stomach upset.

This is an exceptional place to stay if you like quiet comfortable accommodation.

We were made very welcome with Lou going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed, we felt like we were staying with family! There was plenty of free parking in a very quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was freshly cooked, fresh fruit was also available. There was a large TV with all channels and sky also the free WiFi was very good.

Lou and Dan are so much fun and made me feel very at home, they are generous and accommodating!

wonderful little place, honestly worth a visit

Amazing little place and would highly recommend! it’s like a home from home- in the best kind of way. It had everything we needed during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for Lou. Breakfast was amazing, Lou went out of her way to accommodate some dietary requirements.

Superb

This is an absolute gem of a B&B. Great location, spacious room and bathroom with everything you need and even a little more, delicious breakfast. But the best are the hosts. Lou is such a kind and helpful person, nothing is too much trouble for her. It really is a home away from home. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

A proper, homely guest house with superb varied breakfasts and delightful hosts. Raymond's holds an excellent central location between the Manx Electric and Steam Railways.

Perfect stay in Douglas!

Literally the perfect stay. They are such a nice family and did everything to make our stay the best it could be. Beautiful room, wonderful bathroom, delicious breakfast. We had a small child with us and they did everything to make his stay wonderful too. Don't hesitate to book here!

Just what I needed.

This was the perfect place for me to stay. Lou and Dan made me feel welcome and as part of their own family. The place was restful, engaging, and a great retreat from the business of my stay. Always helpful and supportive, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Delicious breakfast.

Could happily live there.

In a perfect location near the town centre, but not too near. Extremely comfortable, without the usual fakery. Just like a home from home. It’s genuinely absolutely beautiful. Victorian/Edwardian features, with hints of the latest tech. Smart TVs and fast WiFi, meets Oak wooden floors and original doors. Lou & Dan are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond to make you welcome. And 10/10 for the brekky. Lou really knows her way around the ol’ pots n’ pans. We only stayed 3 nights and we’ve put half a stone on each 😉 Oh and you lads n’ lasses on bikes? Secure parking 👍👍👍

Perfect base with a Very Warm Welcome

Lovely hosts , and we felt very at home to come and go … even a magic washer and dryer !! Highly recommend , just far enough from the front , easy walking and served well for parking our motorbike ..

Enjoyable and relaxing.

Location good. Easy to find. Room and facilities spotless. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first class.

Difficulty with TV in room. Had to retune and then could only receive 1 channel. Not big problem though.

Nice stay

The owners were very nice and friendly. The bathroom was great, big shower lots of room.

Bathroom was separate from room by 4 steps down short set of stairs. Unfortunately didn't realise they didn't do breakfast.
