Lovely place and people

Had a really nice time at this place The views are amazing and everything's clean. Always had hot water, which was great. The people working here are super friendly and just make the place feel homey. The breakfast was my favorite part - so good and homemade. It’s honestly the best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. The place is a short walk from the center which is nice, you get peace and quiet but can easily get to the busier spots. Would definitely recommend this place if you're staying in Ella It’s a chill place to stay with good folks running it.

That view! Wow - even when the weather is overcast or foggy, it's beautiful - you see all the way down the valley from this point. To the right is Ella Rock and to the left is Little Adam's Peak. Uncle Nimal and his wife are really helpful. Friends from overseas visited me here for dinner and our Hosts put on a wonderful dinner for all of us overlooking the valley/mountains. Spacious room and bathrooms.

There's some stairs to climb to get to the accommodation but Nimal will help you with your luggage.

The best view of Ella

We stayed two nights at Two Rock Vista and loved it. The view from the balcony and room is breathtaking, as you can see both Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock. You really feel like you are almost alone and surrounded by nature. The family who runs it are lovely, they adapted really well to my gluten-free needs and helped us with transportation and local recommendations. Thank you so much!

Wonderful tarrace view, wonderful owners and the staff, they arranged me a scooter, they do loundry service. It was nice that they packed your food to go if you didn't eat everything for brekfast. Huge bathroom and very nice room with brautiful mountsins view !

The view is absolutely stunning. The hosts are nice and prepared a good breakfast for us. The net around the bed was really welcome. You can walk down to Ella in about 10 minutes.

Beautiful scenery, good base in Ella and wonderful hosts

Very friendly staff, breakfast each day was delicious - fresh fruit platter and hoppers or toast, with the option of a freshly cooked omelette which was delicious! The hosts couldn't do enough for you, also did our laundry for 850Rs which was great. Offered to arrange a taxi for our next stop too although we didn't take it. English was a bit of a barrier but no more than anywhere else. The view of course was stunning, breakfast timings were flexible to our needs depending on what we had planned that day which we really appreciated. Fridge in the room was a bonus! No a/c but that was advertised and the fan worked fine. About a 10-15min walk to town which was fine for us. Lovely and quiet.

Few ants running around but think that's to be expected. Wifi went down once but they fixed it quickly.

Stunning accommodation we would recommend to anyone.

The hospitality and location were fantastic. The view over the valley is next level. The owners are beautiful people and the breakfast every day was exceptional. We would recommend to anyone. Also the room and balcony was very clean.

Breathtaking views

The view from the rooms is breathtaking 😍 Although this homestay is a little bit hidden, you'll find it easily with Google maps and it will take you less than 10 minutes to walk to the city center. Nimal and his family will do everything to make your stay perfect. They prepare great breakfast and dinner and they'll recommend good places for cocktails and spa. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable. Although the room has no A/C, we were doing fine with the fan. Please be aware, that you are within nature, of course there will be some geckos etc, but they won't harm you.

Amazing views and a nice place to stay

This property has amazing views! It is well located and within easy reach of Ella rock and little Adams peak with the town only being a short walk away.

We had a lot of ants (more than you would expect) in the bathroom, they were all over the toilet and the shower. Also we had issues with slugs in the bathroom that had to be removed several times.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Two Rock Vista. The view is amazing and the host is really nice. He and his wife made the best food we had during our holiday in Sri Lanka. Both breakfast en dinner were amazing!! The room is nice and clean and in Ella, everything is within walking distance. This place is the best you'll find in the area!

The best view in Ella! We walked around town and did a lot of research before our stay and honestly don't believe there is anywhere with a better view. Breakfast was delicious and the family were lovely - they even sorted our laundry overnight and made us a packed lunch for the train to Kandy.

The room did get very hot as there was no AC but obviously we were aware of that when booking and it is reflected in the price. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrived but unfortunately we did encounter numerous ants making their way back in during the night

Amazing views

Beautiful views and the owner of the guest house is very attentive, also helped us to organise some trips. The guest house is just 10 mins by walk to the main street.

The bed has not sheets to cover ourselves, only a blanket. From the bathroom came a funny smell and there is not a single signal to find the place.

Beautiful view from the balcony. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. The breakfasts were very good. Very helpful owner. I highly recommend. Only a few minutes walk from the center.

The best word to describe this płace is AWESOME. the view from the room is amazing! room And bathroom itself is specious and super clean. first płace in SRi Lanka with a fridge :-) delicious, big breakfasts every day with fresh fruits . its 10-15minutes walking distance to the centre with all restaurants we stayed there 4 nights, it was just great!

Two Rock Vista, what a wonderful place!

Probably the best view in Ella into the valley and at the two rocks ‚Ella rock‘ and Little Adam‘s Peak. Nimal, his wife and the two sons are the perfect hosts! Very nice and friendly, warm hearted. They took our baby son when we had breakfast or dinner so that we could enjoy it. The room was very clean and you can even enjoy the great view from the bed. The place is quiet, a little off the busy Ella town (10 minutes walk), but that’s what we liked about it. One evening Nimal made a Sri Lankan Curry for dinner and it was by far not only the best curry we had on our trip, but also the best dish ever we ate so far!!! Amazing aromas!!! We definitely recommend it and we will come back for sure next time!

Beautiful view

The view from the property is amazing! Clean room with a mini fridge. Breakfast was good and they gave us some extra bananas and pancakes for our day out.

Needs some signs up to direct you to the property. We booked a taxi with them for the next day to Udawalawe national park. Unfortunately they closed the park because of corona virus. As soon as we found out we asked them to cancel the taxi, but they wouldn’t allow it and made us pay the full amount for a taxi we never even saw. Better off just getting a taxi from town if you need to go somewhere!

The best view in Ella

This has to be the most amazing view in Ella directly in front of the room. Excellent value for money. Nimal is a fantastic host with genuinely keen to ensure guests are happy. His food is the best Sri Lankan authentic food I have tasted; and I am a Sri Lankan! I will be back for sure.
