To the south, a 20-minute drive gets you to historical Monterey Cannery Row, home of historic Fisherman's Wharf, the Monterey Bay Aquarium. 17-mile Drive, Pebble Beach, and its famed championship courses are 15 miles south. Enjoy Carmel Beach, historic Carmel Mission, numerous art galleries, restaurants, and boutique shops. The world-famous Big Sur coastal scenic Highway 1 drive is about 30 miles. Los Angles is about 300 miles away. To the North, enjoy the redwood forest, state beaches, and parks in Santa Cruz area 35 miles, 50-minute drive. Visit the Garlic City-Gilroy, a 45-minute drive. Experience Silicon Valley and San Francisco within 2- hour drive.The property off Del Monte Boulevard of Highway 1 and downtown Marina. Extremely convenient for shopping and dining. Guests are within a short drive from Marina State Beach and Fort Ord Dunes State Park, which are part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Had a great stay! The property was spacious, clean, well-furnished and well-labeled. Our only disappointment is that the front yard is no longer grass like in the pictures, but overall we had a great time!

Lovely Home - Great for Family Gathering
We brought our family, ages 2-64, from 3 different states to this lovely home and had a wonderful time. Clean, well laid-out, nice extras like coffee pods and kids' dishes in the kitchen. Common spaces were ample, bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms worked well, and the back yard was lovely for a cookout and for casual gathering. Nearby roads leading to major area attractions, walk-able to dunes overlooking the Pacific (watched the sun set 3 nights in a row), and the neighborhood felt comfortable and safe. The host is responsive, accommodating, and clear about rules and requests. We would absolutely enjoy staying here again.

While there the whole town suffered a power outage. After power came back on our refrigerator circuit breaker was still not set. Called owner and within minutes the problem was solved. Could not ask for a quicker response. Would definitely use this VRBO house again. Many thanks to the owner.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well organized for visitors and usage. The house was lovely, super clean and easy to feel at home. We cooked, sat around, enjoyed the yard, and made it to the Monterey Aquarium and activities to boot. Supervised the two 3 year olds on the stairs but no problem. We ranged in age from 3-85! Loved the hosts and would go back in a heartbeat! Great for family.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well organized for visitors and usage. The house was lovely, super clean and easy to feel at home. Great place to visit Carmel and other places
Place was great and Yongling communicated very well with us. Bummer that there wasn't a washing machine that we could use, but us it for just 4 days.
Very good connection with the main road to Carmel and other places.
Coffee, chocolates and wine were a nice touch :)
Grill was functioning perfectly, so thank you!
It has some stuff for kids (plastic plates) which is really appreciated when you visit houses with kids.
Everything worked fine. Location does not seem to be the safest, but we were never afraid of the neighborhood either.

There was some bottled water, a bottle of wine, plenty of tea and coffee, little chocolates. The house was immaculate. If we go back to the peninsula to play golf, we will stay here again in a heartbeat.

They manage and clean the property themselves, are close to respond to any issue. Windows are open to air house before you arrive (and we left them open as requested when we left). We have never been in a rental that has been so clean in our experience of over nearly 50 years and multple countries.
We were looking for a place where our daughter and granddaughters could enjoy the beach, we could also take them to the Monerery Bay Aquarium, we could have our own meals, watch some videos, and the grandchildren play some games.
Five stars for all of that! A plus came from TVs iboth upper bedrooms and also downstairs. So their game programs could plug into multiple places for that part of the trip.
Beds were comfortable! Big plus for us plus double pillows.
Because we stayed long 4 full dys, a few more kitchen towels and couple more hand towels would have been nice. We left that suggestion privately for the ower so suspect you will not have to deal with that!

Place was incredibly clean with beautiful backyard and garden. Owners were very responsive. It was nice to have multiple bedrooms with bathrooms connected.
2 concerns- they did not give access to the washer and dryer. This was a huge negative as one of the reasons for staying in a full house is access to a kitchen and laundry. I've never stayed in a place that locked up their washer and dryer. 2nd issue was when we went to take a shower the glass panel that slides shut shattered. We did not do anything inappropriate, there was no accident like running into it or it getting hit hard. It simply shattered when slid shut- although no major injury ensued we were charged via the rental insurance. I can see if it was something done on our part, but it wasn't. It made us afraid to take showers in the other bathrooms that had the same type of glass sliding door.
All in all it was a very comfortable property- safe, clean, and well stocked.

The unit is as advertised. The home was clean, spacious (7) in family, comfortable bed and bedding. Special attention to little xtras, like coffee 4 coffee maker, wine glasses, pots/pans even things like seasonings. Allowed use of aquarium passes and plenty of room for parking, would highly recommend.

Three couples rented this house in June while we competed in the Spartan Race in Monterey. The house was very clean, well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. It’s very spacious. The paved court yard was a pleasant surprise. The lush landscaping is beautiful. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway, on the street, and across the road. It’s close to restaurants and shops. A short drive to Monterey, the wharf, and Canery Row. The owner made sure our check in was smooth. She even checked in with us by email during our stay. We will rent this house again.

Great house and location
Stayed here for a week for work and was perfect. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. The beds were comfortable and cozy! The owners were fantastic to deal with and the thoughtful welcome gift was very nice. Its very close to a host of shops and restaurants. We all had a great time staying here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
