Near Downtown & Azalea Trail. Entertainment, Food, & Shopping nearby. We have a Library stocked with games. Piano, Guitar, and Cajon are ready to play. Even a house mystery with escape room like clues to follow and solve if you get bored. You will be impressed with the small things and attention to detail. Owners are falconers and, depending on season and circumstances, may be available to bring a hawk over.

This is a beautiful home in Tyler with tons of room. We had five couples for a few days and never felt crowded.
The beds are super comfy. The game room has every game imaginable.
My only suggestion would be to put more comfortable furniture in the living areas downstairs. Antique furniture looks nice, but is super uncomfortable. That is the only reason I give it an overall 4 instead of 5.
Anyway, nice house and it is central to downtown Tyler. My family really enjoyed it.

My husband and I took my elderly mother and two of her friends for the Tyler Quilt Show. We got this property based on the pictures and my mother loves old homes. But this turned out to be much more than that. All of us have stayed at VRBOs and BNBs around the country many times, yet we all agreed this was the BEST we had ever been at, hands down. Clean, neat, beautifully decorated. Stocked superbly. In the closet with extra towels and such the owners had put anything you could ever need or might have forgotten - it was amazing. The library/game room was spectacularly stocked with things for all ages. Dozens and dozens of games. The house mystery clue game was a blast - even if you aren’t a game person you must try it. Truly a great experience! It deserves far more than the 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

I cannot tell you enough praise for this home and for the owners! Super hosts, indeed!
I had an issue with my caterer not showing up and had to pivot last minute and Angel came through with all the serving pieces in her lovely home. The attention to detail and love put into this home was truly enjoyed by us all. From the mystery of the house to the classy dining table that gave us the perfect location to do great work together. I will stay here again...and again...and again.

This was perfect for our family Thanksgiving! It had a bedroom and bathroom for all couples, a well-stocked kitchen, large dining room with seating for us all, a fun game room (plus the chance to meet Ruby the hawk), and more. Highly recommend!

The house itself is amazing. We played games most of the night in the game room. I enjoyed not having TVs and electronics everywhere. We have enough of that already in life. What really made this trip over the top was meeting the hawk. I can’t say enough thanks to the owners for sharing that experience. My kids keep keep telling everyone it was the best place they have ever stayed.

Our stay at the Wren in the Willows was exceptional. We were a group of 5 couples in town for a wedding and the house couldn’t have been more perfect. We each had our own suite, the rooms were all a good size, and the large table was perfect for us to all sit around and catch-up. The attention to detail was the icing on the cake. Not enough characters to tell all the good things about this property, our hosts and our experience. From the minute Angel (host) met us at the property with homemade cookies and a local pound cake (OMG Good), to the tour of the home, to the incredible experience with Louis (host) and the Harris Hawk Lucy, to the mystery game around the house (wink, wink), to the comfortable, inviting bedrooms with private baths -- we wanted for nothing! Our family time was made all the better because of this wonderful home and our 2nd-to-none hosts!! Like many before us....we'll be back!!!
