Very modern, nicely finished
Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. On arrival, very little information was provided regarding breakfast, check-out times, parking, or restaurant/dining options. Clear communication in these areas would have made the experience much smoother.
The room was extremely cold. I turned the heating up to full and even left it on while I went out, but it was still cold when I returned. I contacted reception to ask if the heating was broken. A colleague came to check, acknowledged that it was on, but insisted it was working and said there was nothing he could do. While I knew it was switched on, it clearly wasn’t producing heat. Eventually, a portable heater was sent to the room, but it felt like I had to argue for it. I paid for a comfortable room and feel a heater should have been provided immediately, without dispute.
Breakfast was also poorly explained. When we arrived, we weren’t told how it worked — whether we could order at the table or what the process was. We were simply told to “enjoy” and left without guidance. Breakfast consisted of pre-made dishes, which meant limited choice and having to select items I didn’t like. For the price paid, I would have expected more variety, the ability to build my own breakfast, or at least the option to order something to my preference.
Overall, I don’t feel the experience met expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here or choose to return.
