The television/cable didn’t work and there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in any bathroom but everything else was fantastic. Checkin was easy. The great room was perfect for gathering. The master bedroom was enormous. Location was perfect for walking everywhere.

We started these beach vacations as a beach week nearly 20 years ago. It has now grown into several weeks of beach vacation because of this property. It has a great location. It is about 50 yds from the beach. It is great for large families. Very spacious.Some areas that could use some attention are the mattresses. Some have been replaces which is good. There are a few others in the queen bedrooms that should be replaced. There is a concentration of mosquitos that hang out by the entrance and garage areas around the mulch. That area could use some spraying.All of this aside, it is in a great location, property management is wonderful, and we always look forward to coming back. This is one of the best properties at the beach.

We were told that the cleaners would be notified. This furniture needs more than cleaning, it needs to be thrown away. Cabinets, doors, walls need to be cleaned and painted. The property just needs to be cared for better because it’s a pretty place. We will watch for updates on the condition of Lacy because if maintained properly by the owners, it’s a great place to stay.

The Lacy is an exceptional rental property. Just completed our 2022 stay and found, as usual, the home to be spotless and well equipped. The street is relatively quiet and located within easy walking distance of the beach, food venues and the grocery store. Will return next year!

The house was large, all one floor - enough bedrooms for three families plus kids. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach access (don’t even need a wagon to carry everything since it’s close) plus there are so many restaurants and snack places at the other end of the street. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed. The only suggestion I have is that the couches definitely need to be replaced, the cushions are completely worn flat. There was a charcoal grill, which wasn’t the best when attempting to cook for several adults and kids, so we ended up using the oven more or going out to eat. All in all, it’s a perfect house and we had a great time!

Expansive living area perfect for large family and friends. Nice kitchen and bar area with ice maker. Well appointed except no kettle. Couches and mattresses need to be renewed as saggy. It was much more spacious than the photos revealed which was really a nice was very quiet which was surprising since there is a unit above but it is very well insulated. It had plenty of beach equipment but you would need to bring umbrellas if you want that kind of coverage. Vicky and Kim with the property management company were wonderful. It would really be nice if they made the beds bc that is the last thing someone wants to do when they have driven a long way to get there.

Great experience. We had 3 families in the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. Great place for a family reunion. We had a wide range of ages from teens to 80s. Everybody LOVED the house! Super comfortable, great views of the ocean and steps away from the beach, lots of common area to gather and plenty of private area when you wanted to get some work done.

There were a few ants in the master bathroom, a clogged sink in the same and the dishwasher does not clean well. We often had to run dishes twice and/or wash by hand. Best place ever!!
This home was nothing short of amazing! We will definitely stay here again! Great location close to the beach, close to all the shopping and restaurants. The House is equipped with anything you would need and everything is very nice and well-kept. A ton of beach chairs, bikes, grill etc. it’s definitely the cleanest property we’ve rented and I think that’s a testament to the management company. Well done! We will be back!

My daughters, grandchildren and I had such a wonderful time at Lacy Cottage! The cottage is airy, clean, very spacious and decorated in a cheery, but contemporary style. This was very important to me as beach cottages can look dumpy and out of date. Each room is ensuite and there are 4 porches to which to retreat. The cottage is located 50 steps from the ocean and is well stocked with wine glasses, dishes, pots and pans and even a pizza pan and pizza knife. You can view the ocean from the main porch and easily walk into town for ice cream or for an evening beach stroll. Loved it!

Lacey Cottage was the perfect house for our Thanksgiving reunion which included Grandparents, Adults and Small Children. Everyone enjoyed the ease of one level living after coming up to the first floor. There was space for everyone - children used the den for their toys and the large deck accommodated everyone. Each bedroom had a small deck.
The gourmet kitchen and pantry were well equipped and the ice maker was a bonus. We were able to put on a complete home cooked Thanksgiving dinner.

Spacious and perfectly located
We had a group of nine traveling in for the triathlon and this house was perfect for our needs. Amazingly spacious, so much so that there was at least one sitting area that we never even used. The bedrooms are a very good size and each has it's own bathroom and deck. The kitchen is a great size and very well equipped. There is plenty of parking (all covered in the event of bad weather), and a garage with tons of beach chairs, and other items. The beach access is just steps away, and, in the other direction, there is a grocery store and several restaurants (especially recommend Tower 7).
If we have occasion to come back to Wilmington for another visit, we would absolutely stay here.
