We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! We’ll definately be back!!

Walkable to everything! Restaurants, shopping, Lake Ontario. Not far from falls. Worked out great for us! Plenty of space for more people too. Loved this nicely remodeled property.

Backyard and front gate needs some attention. Would prefer a kerig coffee maker available to offer various coffee likes such as decaf and regular coffee. Was surprised how excessively the floors sloped in one bedroom. Heating was too noisy to use. Downtown convenience was the bonus. Rustic decor.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blacksmith's Cottage. The property has been lovingly and tastefully restored, with a lot of attention to detail. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was an easy walk to all theatres, and to the restaurants and stores on Queen Street. The location is very quiet and the parking space available was just. outside the back garden gate. We would gladly stay there again.

I stayed here with my sister and her two children (ages 12 and 6) and we could not have been more comfortable. We cooked meals in the perfectly stocked kitchen, watched TV in the lovely living room. Walked to the beautiful downtown and lakeshore in mere minutes. Slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds, and enjoyed long soaks in the fantastic claw foot tub! Seriously this place had it all. Location, amenities, and comfort! I will definitely be back again. I can not recommend this gem of a place to stay enough!

This property is in an ideal location to access Historic Niagara on the Lake! It is walking distance to Shaw Festival, the shopping district, terrific coffee shops, bakeries and pubs. It was very well equipped with a laundry unit, kitchen, lovely updated bathroom and the 3 bedrooms were very comfortable and the sitting area was cozy. We parked the car on arriving and it never moved the whole stay, everything was so close by.
