We are in love with Budapest and we want to share with you all our love of the city and have the exceptional opportunity to come to Budapest !!!! Very quiet despite being in the center of the capital. Enjoy this accommodation for its location in a building with beautiful Atlantis. And the refinement of its furnishings. Its high ceilings in the living room and bedroom "suite", large windows, electric shutters, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen .... All our tourist activity is based on human contact, which causes a small additional cost for very late arrivals, since we do everything to welcome 24/24 This accommodation is our "BLUE APARTMENT" in the center of Budapest. It will delight all kinds of travelers, both because of its location in the center, close to Oktogon, the Opera, Andrassy, baths, Kiraly utca and the famous pubs and restaurants, and all other vestiges of Budapest. You will appreciate its beautiful rooms, its parquet flooring, a nice room in mezzanine (1.60m high) etc .... Everything will be perfect. We will certainly help you prepare your stay and give you all tips to make the most of Budapest. We offer transfer service, with the arrival a first tour of the city. We also offer a discovery of Budapest and its surroundings, to Lake Balaton. Feel free to tell us. All linen is supplied (bed and bathroom). Possibility to have a cot on request.

This was a great property to say in. It was clean and spacious, and located close to the metro. The property owners were great to deal with and made things as easy as possible for guests. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was extremely clean, with a pleasant color scheme and very spacious rooms. The kitchen was well supplied and had a large table and 6 chairs. The king size bed was extremely comfortable! There is a very nice-sized couch and a lovely large armchair. We did not use the loft sleeping space; it would be great for kids, but has a low ceiling for adults. Weather was in the high 80s but the apartment stayed very cool. There are large windows but the apartment doesn’t get any direct sunlight. It is exceptionally quiet and very, very convenient.
One note for older travelers- the bathtub is a large spa-style tub, but there are no bars, nothing to hold onto and it’s hard to get in and out of. No issue at all for younger folk, however and a lovely deep bath if you like to soak! Hot water excellent!
Alix and Dominique are the most responsive hosts we have ever encountered!! We had a little trouble figuring out how to lock and unlock the door, and a few other small questions. Dominique answered me immediately and we agreed to meet Alix at the apartment a couple of hours later. She was lovely, helpful and kind.

Loved our stay at Dominique’s Oktogon apartment. Beautiful courtyard which was very quiet. Apartment is exactly as described. Very nicely decorated. Great location which is close to everything.
Stayed with our twins age 7 and eldest who is 10. They loved sleeping in the upstairs loft room together.
Really loved all the storage space and the full kitchen. We stayed for 11 nights so this was very appreciated.
Will definitely like to stay there again on our next trip back to Budapest.

Very clean, warm and convenient. Just to point out the ceiling in 2nd bedroom is very low, and my sons kept hitting their heads as they could not stand up. Otherwise it was very good

Die Wohnung war etwas kleiner als wir anhand der Bilder vermuteten. Wir haben uns aber rasch eingelebt in dem charmanten Budapester Haus. Die Stadt kann fußläufig erkundet werden und alles was wir brauchten war durch zahlreiche Einkaufs- und Essensgelegenheiten verfügbar. Obwohl mitten in der Stadt gelegen, ist es ausgesprochen ruhig in der Wohnung. Etwas umständlich war das Parken.

Sehr gute Wahl
Wir waren zu dritt für acht Nächte. Die große saubere Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und kühl an heißen Tagen, die leise Klimaanlage haben wir selten eingeschaltet. Die Betten sind groß, das Bettzeug sehr angenehm. Wir haben den großen Kühlschrank und die Spülmaschine benutzt, die Waschmaschine und den Wäschetrockner brauchten wir nicht. Es gibt überall viele Steckdosen, damit wir unsere zahlreichen elektronischen Geräte laden und benutzen konnten. Die zwei Schlüsselbunde benötigten manchmal organisatorische Aufgaben, falls wir in drei Richtung ausgegangen waren, um die jeweils nächste Familie und Freunde zu besuchen. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist sehr gut zu erreichen, es ist eine zentrale Lage. Es gab überraschender Weise genug freie Parkplätze, aber das Parken ist sehr restriktiv (3 Stunden an Werktagen) und relativ teuer; es sei denn, man hat einen Schwerbehinderten-Parkausweis. Wir haben mit dieser Wohnung eine sehr gute Wahl getroffen.

Perfect Budapest Apartment
Our stay in Budapest was amazing. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. Check-in was easy. The apartment was clean and in a great location. Just a short walk away was a lovely coffee shop (next to the Starbucks but less expensive and delicious), a quick service gyro restaurant, a local bar called The Rabbit Hole and many Hungarian options too. Walking to the city center and the Szechenyi baths was also not too far. Wish we could have stayed much longer!

While staying at this apartment with my family, I was fantasizing that my work would give me an assignment in Budapest and this would be my apartment!
It was truly lovely, with super high ceilings and a beautiful, sparkling clean interior. Very quiet in the evenings and a great location near the Oktogon which made it easy to get to anywhere in Budapest.
Dominique was very responsive and gave exceptionally clear directions on all aspects of our stay.

The apartment is simply blue
Just a lovely apartment.
As soon as you enter it, you see that the main colour is blue. All is new and very comfy. It is provided with everything you need and electric appliances are quite new.

Siamo state accolte dalla gentilissima signora Erika 'appartamento ben arredato', pulito e comodo.
Ci siamo mosse utilizzando sia i mezzi pubblici che i taxi. La vicina piazza Oktagon nevralgica per girare tutto l'interno del piccolo ring con facilità anche a piedi.
In consiglio mi permetto di dare. Utili sono indicazioni di ristoranti consigliati vicino alla Casa per non finire nella fretta in posti turistici o squallidi. Per noi sarebbero stati molto utili.
Consiglio la casa per massimo 4 persone con poca necessità di privacy in quanto il bagno si apre sia sulla camera da letto matrimoniale che sul corridoio. La seconda stanza da letto a cui si accede con una rampa di scale non ha porte.
Per noi, 4 donne, é stata una soluzione ottima. Ci ritornerei ad occhi chiusi. Il prezzo è ok.

Such a well placed apartment for exploring Budapest! Our family of 6 had ample room and enjoyed this lovely apartment. Mezzanine level ideal for older children/teens, or anyone under 5ft! Very clean. Biggish Spar 5 mins walk away, and all the sights easily accessed by meteo and tram, or even bus. We had a relaxing time here, and would love to come back again for longer. Radiators kept us cosy in the evenings. Our days were warm and sunny, so I imagine this is a blissfully cool retreat in the height of summer.

W e had stayed there for a week. This is a grate location to visit Budapest. We have walked all week to visit Budapest we did not took bus up and off and so on. Take note that we are used to walk 5 to 8 km per day. The appartment was great and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped . Since the room is facing a courtyard it was very calm and the climatisation was working perfectly. The owner is very reliable and the service perfect.
I would not hesitate to recommend this appartment to my friend and if I had to give a grade i would give an A+

Amazing location
W e had stayed there for a week. This is a grate location to visit Budapest. We have walked all week to visit Budapest we did not took bus up and off and so on. We just came back from a great stay at this apartment in Budapest. The owners were extremely helpful and accomodating which made the overall experience even better. The apartment was located near enough to all the tourist attractions for us to walk everywhere. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Terrific apartment centrally located to everything in Budapest. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Dominique was extremely helpful from the time of booking, providing ample information prior to check in. Our daughters really liked sleeping up in the loft area, and the master bedroom was very comfortable. We recommend highly!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, ziemlich zentral gelegen
Hallo,
wir waren Ende März 2018 zu zweit für 5 Nächte in dieser tollen Wohnung. Von ihr aus konnten wir alle Ziele und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen, sie liegt wirklich sehr zentral.
In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man brauchte, nur Verbrauchsgüter muss man selbst besorgen, was aber in den "Prima"- Läden in der Innenstadt kein Problem ist.
Parken ist in Budapest schwierig. Wir hatten unser Auto auf dem P+R Parkplatz der Station Mexikoi abgestellt. Das hat nichts gekostet und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel hat man auch nicht benutzen müssen.
Insgesamt können wir die Wohnung guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen, auch für bis zu 5 Personen.

Location and Style
Pros:
_ Great location away from the noise of busy streets, yet a quick 2 block walk to the Metro/tram/buses. Close to several groceries stores, wonderful market (toned down version of Central Market), banks, restaurants, museums (closest is less than 2 blocks away!) and gyms (yoga studio 4 doors down the street).
_ The hosts were immensely helpful and responsive, definitely going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and recommending highlights to visit in the immediate neighborhood.
_ The flat was nicely furnished, kitchen very well appointed and once we figured out how to operate the laundry, super nice as well!
_ Appreciated that the toilet and bathroom were separate rooms to allow for privacy and ease of getting ready in the mornings. Lovely soaking tub that was a blessing after a long day on our feet.
Nice To Knows:
_ The loft area is NOT full ceiling height (approx. 5 1/2 ft). This was a surprise, yet only spent time in the loft sleeping so did not impact our stay. Definitely a great space if traveling with children, just a smidge challenging for adults.
_ Flat was tidy, but hadn't had a thorough cleaning before our arrival. We found numerous legos in the carpet which could have been easily extracted with a quick vacuum or rug shake. And found a good amount of detritus under the couch after loosing an earring and looking under the couch for it. Please note that on a whole this was a tidy apartment, we just felt that it could use a bit more effort in ensuring a deep clean.

The building is lovely and very centrally located. The apartment was clean, beautiful, well kept.
The apartment has a clever design, using the high ceilings to make both a modern kitchen and a loft bedroom. The living room is very comfortable, and the high ceilings kept it cool even in the heat of Budapest. The main bedroom bed is very comfortable, and everything was as promised.
The location is really great, both central and on a quiet street. Budapest is a great walking city, and there is so much just a short hike from the apartment, as well as having easy access to public transportation.
The owners were friendly and responsive, though I did not see them during the stay. We highly recommend this property.
