Loved the room and property along with Don.. he was very sweet! He was very helpful and he also gave us coffee ..when we checked very late ! Breakfast was great!!

The breakfast was excellent. The host was a super nice guy and offered some very helpful suggestions of things to see and do. We were the only ones staying that night and so had a good chance to have a lengthy, personal visit with the host over breakfast. Clean and comfortable accommodations in a nice, old house. The breakfast was wonderful, with warm croissants and superb homemade jam. Nice location, near a beautiful hike up Chamcook Mt. and a lovely running path down an old railway bed that wrapped around Lake Chamcook, plus just a short drive to downtown St. Andrews.
Not really much to complain about. Only stayed one night and did not use the shower, so can't comment on that. Also, we were the only ones staying that night, so can't say how it would have been if there had been a full house, though that probably would just depend on what other kind of guests there were.

I found the place generally worn out. It wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked as things were dusty for example, the alarm clock , the bed posts, and if we looked anywhere in the corners, it wasn’t as spotless as it should be . I found the room we were in to be quite cluttered and I found that it smelled a bit like mildew. I found that there wasn’t enough privacy. We were in the downstairs twin bedroom right off the dining room but also our bedroom and bathroom were right off their kitchen with a door that didn’t go all the way to the ceiling or floor so we could literally hear them eating off their plates. So I knew if I could hear them, what could they hear when I was using the bathroom right beside their adjoining door? The bfast croissant was good, but I found the bread was too hard. I enjoyed the bacon, but I found the eggs tasted odd. It’s a good price for the location and for very basic amenities, but I wouldn’t stay again. Host was kind.
