Please inquire with us if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates** This is one of the largest and most desirable units within the highly sought after Trappeur's Crossing Resort, a development that provides a plethora of amenities and services, in a fantastic location at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. This unit in Emerald Lodge has high end finishes, furnishings, and décor throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms feature granite, marble, travertine and slate finishes for a consistently high quality. The kitchen is fully equipped and then some, including a gas range and stainless steel appliances. HDTVs are found in every bedroom, and there is a smartphone compatible stereo system. This end unit condo has no one above it, and faces 3 directions, which provides you with nice views of the ski slopes and Emerald mountain too. With 2 Kings and 2 Queens, 4 of the 5 bedrooms are ideal for couples. but will also work well for single adults or kids. The 5th bedroom has 4 Twins bunked, and is ideal for up to 4 kids or single adults. With this many bedrooms and beds, you probably won't need the sleeper sofa in the living room, but it's there for you. The living room has vaulted ceilings, comfy seating, a warm gas fireplace and large HDTV. It is open to the Kitchen and dining room, so even large groups can come together here. There is also a large covered deck with nice views, which is particularly nice for guests who visit in the warmer months of spring, summer, or fall. The location of Emerald Lodge is great! You'll be within easy walking distance of the Gondola, Ticket Office, Ski School, restaurants, bars, shops, and even groceries. Right out back is the Bear Creek Trail, a paved path leading directly to Gondola Square, which is only about 350 yards away! This walk is quiet and pleasant, with very little up or down. Summer guests will love how this trail connects you directly to the hiking and biking trails of the Routt National Forest as well as the Yampa River. Even in winter season, it is an easy walk to the activity of Gondola Square, particularly if you've stored your skis at the Gondola. Ask us about discounted rentals with free storage! If you don't want to walk to the slopes, you don't have to! The free private shuttle service available during ski season will whisk you to and from the slopes, as well as anywhere else in town! Ski season guests will have no need for a car when they here. If you do have a car, though, you'll benefit from having a reserved underground parking spot as well as covered and uncovered outdoor overflow parking. Please note, trailers are not easy to accommodate here or most places. So, please chat with us before booking if you have a trailer. This development is one of very few places in Steamboat Springs where there are pools and hot tubs available year round, but that is just one example of the luxurious feel of this property. Air Conditioning is another, and again, something that is not commonly found here in Steamboat Springs. You may not want to leave this resort location! There are 4 pools & 10 hot tubs to choose from, including both indoor and outdoor facilities. Other on-site amenities include tennis courts, a sauna, fitness center, guest lounge with coffee and tea bar, an outdoor fire pit, grilling & dining areas, the list goes on! The clubhouse has locker rooms, newspapers, and of course the 24 hour front desk. During the ski season, the clubhouse hosts twice weekly "Apres Ski" parties, which are catered with food, wine & beer. This was an awesome spot for two families with kids. Each room had its own bathroom and it was very spacious. Shuttles ran often. Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely look to book again!

This is a very spacious and clean home with modern conveniences and everything you need! Check in process was cumbersome with the second code not listed in the instructions. Would have been nice to have been given more specific directions to the parking garage. The description to the property said it was walking distance to downtown, however downtown is at least two miles away, so while some people might consider this walking distance, we do not. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and thank you for the lovely time!

Beautiful condo set in the middle of the valley surrounded by lots of others with walkways running all over the area. Few wrinkles but we worked around the issue as the whole thing was about family

We had family coming from 3 different locations and wanted to meet somewhere fun. We loved the rental! It had the perfect number of bedroom and as a bonus, lots of bathrooms. We appreciated that. The house was clean and staged well. The large dining table was a plus. Also in a good location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This property adequately accommodated all 12 of our family comfortably. It was well stocked with all the kitchen necessities as well all as pantry staples. This property was also well stocked with games which my grand children had a blast with during our very limited down time.
The reason for the 4 star rating for cleanliness is because when checking under beds and dressers before leaving we found two dirty diapers under one of the dressers. The washing machine leaked water when we washed a load of clothes and the iron board was broken which was not that big of deal. When I contacted customer service they responded quickly, but didn't think they could get it replaced before we left.
The kids loved the pools, which were easy to access and there were always clean pool towels available.
Overall, this property meet our needs. We would stay here again.

9 of us came for a Mustang Car Show and this condo met all of our needs. We needed 5 bedrooms and bathrooms which the condo had. The bedroom with the bunk beds was a small space for adults but perfect for kids. The location was perfect for everywhere we needed to go. Checking in needs improvement, the letter we received with instructions was not thorough enough. We had to go to the office the next morning and the office straightened out our key issues.
Overall, a nice place.

My family loved this VRBO! There were plenty of bedrooms each with its own bathroom except one. We loved the large living room and kitchen to congregate. The property had hot tubs, new grills and a pool available to use. Nice to park in the underground garage.
Pay attention to the cancellation policy. We hoped to leave a day early because of early flights out of Denver but were not in the cancellation timeframe even though the request was made weeks out.

Dream location short walk to village and lifts. Perfect for our family from ages 4-70! Every bedroom had a bathroom, spacious living room, all amenities in the kitchen, access pool and hot tub to relax. Our whole family loved it and would love to rent this unit again next year!!

This home in the Emerald Lodge building was perfect for our annual family ski trip. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The condo was exactly as pictured and clean when we arrived. The resort transportation made it so easy to get around, there is no need to rent a car.

The process from selection of property to check in was seamless and easy. The only small, and I mean small issue was the combination lock to get the key card…may have been us but it took three of us to try to finally get it. Place was great and so was property management staff!!!

We truly enjoyed our week at Emerald Lodge 5, the unit was plenty large, we had all of the amenities we needed and it is in a primo location relative to the Steamboat ski village. We walked to the ski/gondola area, we used the very convenient shuttles and were able to easily park our three vehicles in the garage underneath or across the street at Trappeaurs Crossing (affiliated lodging). The views off the balcony of our unit were beautiful, the condo is lavishly furnished and decorated. It is a great unit. Our only issue was that for the price we paid - we would have expected to arrive to a much cleaner unit. It is understandable, I guess, given the challenges these days w labor and keeping staff - and we gladly soldiered on. There were a few minor maintenance issues that we reported to property management and they were very friendly and responsive. Overall this was an excellent experience!!!

Great condo in a great location. Problem was the Management company has poor customer service and is difficult to deal with. We waited for over one hour on premise to get into the building. The lockbox that supposedly held a key did not and no one seemed interested in assisting to get us a new key. Amenities, such as pool and hot tub are a little dated. Will probably look elsewhere next time we book in Steamboat. Suggest you do the same.

Emerald Lodge Ski Trip 2022
We had a great time staying at the Emerald Lodge during Spring Break. The condo was amazing and kitchen very well stocked with all of the appliances we needed. All bedrooms and bathrooms were so nice.

We had a good time! Some small issues with condo: the prior renters/ owners had a dog and failed to vacuum or clean sofas. Tons of hair. I attempted to vacuum but the vacuum cleaner was not working. I fixed the vacuum cleaner, did a proper clean and then it was good. Also, condo needs new toaster, only one side works and a coffee grinder. Otherwise good size for large family. Nice facilities.
