Für unseren Start zur Ballontour 5:30 war das der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Wir hatten in Mexiko City. Um nicht mitten in der Nacht anreisen zu müssen, haben wir eine Unterkunft gesucht und sind bereit am Vortag angereist. Der Jetlag hat uns bei früheren Aufstehen geholfen. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe zum Startplatz der Ballonanbieter und der Transfer am Morgen war gut organisiert. Am Abend hat unsere Gastgeberin für uns hervorragend gekocht und mit ein paar Besonderheiten der mexikanischen Küche vertraut gemacht. Wer eine morgendliche Ballonfahrt plant und am Vortag anreisen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
Wir empfehlen, nicht so spät anzureisen, da der Weg vom Busbahnhof bis zur Unterkunft fussläufig im Dunklen nicht zu empfehlen ist. Ein Taxi geht natürlich immer.
