Imagine waking up and going to sleep in this beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath oceanfront condominium/apartment. Built in 2007 and remodeled in March 2017. This oceanfront property will be your favorite vacation spot every year. This oceanfront property has beautiful granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, and all kitchen amenities to help you feel as if you are at home. Beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards await. All you need for this dream vacation is clothes and food. The condo/apartment is on the 3rd floor with it's own private balcony and barbecue. The beautiful beach is steps away from your own private entry. It comes complete with cable television and internet. Each bedroom has its own private shower. The condo has all of the amenities to make you feel at home. The master bedroom faces two french glass doors that overlook the Pacific ocean and features a queen size bed with sunken tub and separate double head shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed set, the bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. The final bedroom features a full size bed sleeping two, dresser, and nightstand. The bathroom in the third bedroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Living area has a full size sofa sleeper. Electric fireplace in Living room and Master bedroom. 1 tandem parking space included, which will accommodate 1 large or 2 small vehicles. If you have more than 2 large vehicle's , there is another option for parking for an additional fee.

This Is The Most Amazing Place!! Located
Right on the beach. Water right there! Not 100 yards off. Belmont Park is a super short walk away. We recommend the Coasters BBq place! Well stocked house- cooking supplies, bbq, fire pit, tons of beach supplies. Amazing. Upstairs gives incredible view. Host is very attentive and friendly. Parking tight but that’s the beach life. Thanks so much! Can’t wait to come again!!

Great location. Close to Seaworld and short drive to the zoo. The beach is right outside the condo. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I just stayed in this awesome condo. Beautiful views, walking distances to food and drinks. My son was able to just walk down and get sea shells while we sat on the balcony watching him. Just a perfect time, we are talking about making it a yearly visit.

The location and views are outstanding. Monica was great to communicate with any questions we had. Waking up seeing the oceanfront and dolphins every day made our stay that much more memorable. There many things and places to explore within walking distance off the boardwalk. Having the off street parking was a great add. We used a compact suv and if you know how to navigate a vehicle the parking into the car port is golden, you just have to take your time and be patient. I would stay here again!

Amazing ocean views and good communication with the property manager. However I would not recommend this property for the following reasons.
- the parking spot advertised does not fit a standard car. Unless you have a golf cart, fiat or smart car- the space is too narrow. Our car was badly damaged trying to park, I would not recommend trying. The width of the spot is not large enough to fit the width of a standard car.
- hidden fees. We drove around for an hour looking for street parking- which we finally found stret parking about a quarter mile from home.The property manager later gave us her parking spot for an extra daily fee paid via venmo.
- lack of kitchen items and cleanliness. All pans were badly scratched- tephlon falling off- so not usable. 1 pot was safe to use. Dirty silverware and dishes were found in kitchen cabinets.
- oven did not work. Property manager said the oven was recently fixed, but it did not work during our stay. This was a hindrance since we bought food to cook in the oven.
- Water temperature in main bedroom shower only came out as cold or very hot. There was no temperature control and the shower floor was granite so not ideal. I am pregnant so falling/ slipping was a big concern.
- Overall cleanliness of apartment was subpar. Closets were stuffed with objects that we had to move to hang clothes. Many drawers inside were dirty, some windows did not open.
- keep in mind for the beautiful view there are some compromises.

We had a great stay. The view is amazing from the patio and the kitchen area. The location was perfect. Close enough to Belmont Park and restaurants, but not so close that it's overly crowded or loud (same noise as other places we've stayed further from Belmont Park). We couldn't fit in the provided parking spot, it is a very compact spot, but we easily found a spot a couple blocks away with no issue - just be sure to take note of street sweeping. More than enough beach chairs and beach toys provided. We had a group of 6 and needed to have some sit at the table vs the couch in the living area to fit us all - but we were mostly at the beach so that wasn't a problem. Bathrooms on every bedroom is a huge plus! Something we'd improve would be the pillows (they were lumpy) and add mattress protectors to beds without one. Part of our party arrived early and host was great about letting them check in a little early. If you are traveling with young children, one thing I'd caution is a small area by the stairs that isn't barricaded would be a concern. The place was exactly as it looked in photos with the exception of different patio furniture - which is an outdoor sectional - there were also some folding chairs available for extra seating on the patio.

Location was very nice. Close to the water and a few shops and restaurants. Parking is very difficult unless you are driving a very small vehicle. Need to bring your toiletries including soap, shampoo, etc. This was not of the cleanest places we have stayed in. There was a lot of dust, mildew and screens could use some love. Main door handle fell off as well as one in one of the bathrooms. Overall, a nice location but could use a deep clean.

I have grown up going to Mission Beach! This stay was everything I hoped it would be and more. To be in that stress free environment; being lulled to sleep by the ocean, and wake up to the waves crashing was heaven. To walk out the door and stay down at the beach as long as you like...amazing! Looking out the big picture window during sunset was a dream. And the balcony in the evening was magic. I will definitely stay here again (and again after that)!!!

The best part is the location and having 3 rooms each with their own bathroom plus a half bath. I was disappointed with a few things: limited hot water, I had lukewarm showers. The middle bedroom does not have blinds, there’s a home right next door with windows so not sure if they could see in. No access to the closets to hang clothes. The fans in the rooms were very dirty. One of the remotes for the TV didn’t work. And the drawers and utensils weren’t the cleanest.

You can’t beat the location and views. This property had plenty of space for our group of 8 celebrating a bridal party weekend.

We had a wonderful stay. Best part was location, location, location. Right on the beach. There were 6 of us. Plenty of sleeping space and even better each room was had an en suite. Also a powder room. With 6 ladies that’s important😊. Good contact with the host and easy instructions for checking in and out. A little grimy but understand as we were on the beach. We had a blast.

Great overall experience and owner was very accommodating to a date change due to the Hurricane. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. Parking is very tight (we have a Honda Odyssey) but it is to be expected staying on such premium real estate. Great views and we even saw the dolphins swimming by from the balcony! So cool.

Great views. My family and I really enjoyed our time. However, there were many things amiss with this place. For starters the front door to enter the unit we stayed in, the handle outside came off. All three bedrooms had restrooms/showers. One of the bedroom’s you couldn’t even use the shower because the shower door wouldn’t open all the way…(that’s the room all the way at the end of the hall). Also in this bedroom closet door wouldn’t shut. Dust on the shutters in the master bedroom. As well as the dresser in master bedroom that (we did not use!)…the bottoms drawers lining were falling out onto the floor. Also gel like matter on the floor near the fan in the master bedroom. The outdoor patio had trash such as pistachio shells, candy wrappers, food crumbs, tabs from beer or soda, old crusty food on the patio table..the folded up umbrella ( that was not usable ) had pieces of the umbrella on the ground….bbq provided had food build up..not sanitary by any means. Dishes provided, but seemed they needed to be washed before using. I purchased the most expensive coverage for this rental… & when my family and I walked into a place that was not reflecting the rent listing on all levels…very disappointing.

My family spent a week at this beautiful ocean front property and loved it! Monkia was very responsive to our messages and request while staying, the home is right on the beach, the views were amazing!! Thank you for the amazing stay!!

View is great, fun spot because everything is walking distance, however like other comments when we were there the out side furniture was not set up that way the pictures look. The place sleeps 8 but the table only sits 4. It would’ve been nice if windows were open since it was hot when we arrived after a 5 hour drive.

The kids said this was the best family vacation ever lol. The house was very nice, awesome views of the ocean, and it’s so nice to sleep listening to the waves. You have everything you need here, even for the kids to play with stuff at the beach. The parking is really tight, but it is possible, we have a Kia Carnival and was able to get it in and out. Thanks for letting us stay here we had a great time.

We just got done taking a five day cruise and didn’t feel like that was enough of a vacation so we went to the beach house in San Diego for two nights three days. It was one of the highlights of the vacation. The rooms were nice with a full bathroom. You could walk to everything in the area and we got plenty of beach time. Would love to stay there again.

Great location, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our party of 8. We were able to park a jeep Rubicon and a rental sedan tandem without trouble. (Good parking skills a must!)
Kids had a blast playing at the beach and enjoyed the sand toys/boogie boards available for use

Worst experience I’ve ever had renting a house, we stay in SD every May so we’re not new to renting homes for the weekend. Homeowner is the most unprofessional host I’ve ever dealt with, do not rent this home if you want to be harassed the entire time because she lives directly under where you’re staying.

Place was run down. Faucets almost fallen off. Temperature control on shower faucets not working; so took cold showers during the stay.

Parking was horrible; scraped my car trying to park in a very tight spot.

Great location and view. Clean. Living space a bit dated but ok for our needs. Do not up grade car. Ford edge or equal as big as you can park. Bring mirrors in and have a spotter. Would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for sharing your property

The only locations on mission beach that even come close to this one are the houses to the left and to the right! Right on the water an only a couple minutes walk to anything you might want to do!

We had a great stay at this beach rental. The location was amazing as we were right on the beach. The balcony was perfect from coffee in the morning and hanging out in the evenings with a perfect view of the ocean. Easy check in. Difficult parking for a normal sized car as with all beach front rentals. Nice place to stay but no special touches.

This location has an incredible ocean view. It is certainly the selling point for this place. The ocean breezes and sound of the waves make for relaxing moments and awesome sleep. Every bedroom has its own full bathroom which is very awesome with several people. The check in/out process is really easy. We didn't have any reason to contact the owner so I can't comment on communication. The pics in the ad aren't accurate. There is a small couch for sitting in the living room so not enough space for larger groups. You can use the dining area to sit, but not comfortable for relaxing. The porch is the place to be but again the pics are truly reflective of the furniture set up. The cushions and pillows on outdoor furniture are in need of replacement. Some window treatment would be recommended on the bedroom windows...the neighbors are very close and the view between the units bedrooms are 20/20 is you get my drift...lol! It gets a little noisy along the boardwalk, but that's the price you pay to be literally steps from the ocean.
Overall it was a nice stay and I would consider staying again.

Location was wonderful. Of note, there is no air conditioner, so we left the windows open every day/night however one of the rooms did not have any screens so either they roasted with the windows closed or got bug bites throughout the night. Kitchen was well stocked dishes/pans except it is missing mixing bowls & a pitcher. Keeping a beach property clean can’t be easy but we had to clean when we got there. The master bath shower looks right into the neighbors bedroom and there are no blinds. The BBQ only works on one side so dinner took a while to cook. It would be nice to have 6 dining room chairs since we had a party of six. The contract does state that the owner can enter the premises for maintenance, but I have to admit it was weird to just have the window cleaner guy walk in without any notice, sounds like a lot of complaints, but we had a great time and used the balcony every day.

BEWARE Before You Book
The OWNERS LIVE BELOW! They monitor every little thing you do and have a camera watching you go in and out of the house! You are not allowed to have any guests. The property manager Monica is nice but is also their daughter and lives around the corner. She came into the house without our permission, while we were not there and yelled at our teenage kids for having too many friends over (there were 11 kids total that were so respectful and quiet that they weren’t even playing music or watching TV). The owner’s other daughter physically got in my face yelling at me about us having more then 8 people in the home during the day, on 4th of July. The parking is so tight that (we have a Toyota Highlander) my husband who is in shape, had to climb out of the window to get out of the car and climb on the windshield and down the hood to get out of the 2 car parking spot. Our other car is a Dodge Durango and we could not fit both cars there due to a gate they have installed. The owners also have 2 small dogs that come outside at 6am - 8am and bark constantly. So if you plan on sleeping in or relaxing on your vacation this is NOT the rental for you. While there we read their guest book and there were others that noted the same issues as us. Also found a description online from a realtor that discloses/warns all above.
The home is clean and nice and the views are great but the front door is in the back alley way not beachfront. Also bring your own beach chairs and umbrella because the ones they provide are short water beach chairs and very rusted with no umbrella. Good Luck

Great Location, but not as described
The view is AMAZING!! I could sit on the patio and look at the ocean all day. The location on Mission Beach is ideal. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of amusement area to be fairly quiet most of the time. Pacific Beach is less than a mile walk. There was always room at the beach in front of the condo.
A bathroom for each bedroom was nice. Bedding was good. Towels were provided. Monica was responsive to questions.
As mentioned in previous reviews, specifically Tama L. March 2022: While superficially clean when we got there, there was substantial dust and grime on the top of cabinet doors, window sills, kitchen cabinets, fans, etc. The dishes were wet when we got there. The dishwasher was grimy. There were hairs in the fridge and freezer and also in the bathtub. My wife spent the first hour we arrived cleaning.
While there are granite countertops throughout the condo, it could use a new coat of paint, as the walls were scuffed in many areas. There are no curtains/blinds in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We were surprised to walk out of the main bath into the bedroom and see the neighbors in their kitchen through the bedroom window. Blinds or curtains would be a great addition so you don’t have to duck and cover.
The parking spot is very TIGHT. We tried to pull in front first but got stuck and damaged the side of our rental car. Backing in was much better, but it still took someone outside the car helping. You can’t open both the driver and passenger side doors to exit; someone had to jump to the other side. We had a midsize crossover-an average sized vehicle. Plan accordingly.
The patio furniture in the pictures is much nicer than what is provided. Our furniture, while functional, did not accommodate as many people as the pictures would indicate, and appeared to be of inferior quality. The patio table provided is much smaller than the picture and does not have an umbrella. The dining room table and chairs inside are also smaller and appear to be of lower quality. There is no easy chair as in the pictures either. We were a family of four and other than sitting at the dining table, there was no space to just hang out together.
And while there isn’t a “private” walkway to the beach, the public access is a very short walk down the alley. With a little TLC, this property could be a 5-star plus. The location can’t be beat. Despite a few drawbacks, we did have a very good time.
